  1. Stop it now. The poster was correct. If stars hurt feelings or are offensive ban me now then. I go on here to talk baseball and listen to other Brewers fan's opinions not for someone or myself to police mine or someone else's language especially when it isn't even seen. I'm fired up about a Lucroy deal sorry for being too excited. I didn't police you. I gave a simple suggestion. I swear as much as the next guy. However, it's about building a community. Its a rule. Read them and act accordingly. I too am excited about a Lucroy deal and I am hopeful we are on the same page once it goes through.
  2. ******* puke The stars are there because swearing is frowned upon. You've had a lot of those I've read recently. Maybe tone em down.
  3. And you have a problem with a guy that hit majestic shots that made women's (and mens) tops everywhere fly of!?!?!
  4. I think we are saying the same thing. I'd say you're probably right. But, I'd take him starting at 2nd every day if he was hitting 7th.
  5. Still doesn't get on base enough. If he did, he be a starter. He's a good bench player though. Plays multiple positions well and smacks it around a bit. I think Perez is a great spot starter and 6 or 7 hitter.
  6. At the game today...crowd is pretty sparce. Nice weather though!
  7. That's too bad. I've really enjoyed watching them. I'm not able right now, but score mobile isn't painting a pretty picture.
  8. Another walk to a pitcher. Is there any dat a base the keeps tabs of that? This feels like every game.
  9. Wow. That surprises me. I thought I remembered him being bad. Interesting. More surprising is that he only played in 87 games.
  10. Wasn't he pretty bad last year too? Seems like a solid move for the Padres to shed more salary. They made some interesting moves a few years ago and came up short. To me, they are a good example of why to stay away from expensive free agent signings.
  11. My score mobile app says 3.86. Also, Im sure most GMs aren't looking at his ERA alone. If you don't think his value dropped a bit you're crazy. I still think they'll package smith with Lucroy though. Dropped? Maybe. Disappeared? Nope

  13. It would be nice if players made plays to record outs/double plays. Even nicer if Smith could get somebody out today. Ball hit to our 3rd baseman was an out...probably should have been 2. The last 6 outs was the most Brewers thing ever.
  14. It would be nice if players made plays to record outs/double plays.
  15. I assumed he was staring in the dugout to see if we were going to challenge.
  16. I'd love to see how many times we have walked a pitcher this year.
  17. It was a 93 mph fastball right down the middle. Gotcha, Thanks for the clarification.
  18. It looked like the pitch he hit out was a slider, but I was far away from a tv...so it could have been a fastball
  19. Nothing like making up random numbers. Guy must also tell us the weather. :p
  20. I've wondered the same. He will most likely go to st louis in the future and become a Cy young candidate.
  21. The dumpster fire that is Matt Garza at it early tonight.
  22. Flores hit .282/.376/.449 over 655 plate appearances as a 22-23 year old in AAA. You don't understand why a rebuilding team struck with injuries at his position would give him 250+ PA as a 24 year old to see what he can do? Flores has a nice swing. I just don't think he's learned how to get himself into hitters counts and do damage so he's too often in defensive mode at the plate. Part if it undoubtedly is hitting 8th in the order. That's a tough spot for a young hitter. Nieuwenhuis is the kind of everyday player you see on 100 loss teams. There were some legit CF out there who wouldn't have cost much, but Brewers chose the cheap route. Didn't help that Broxton can't hit a lick against major league pitching either. Overall the OF production would have been fine had they just held on to Davis another year. I didn't get that trade when it happened and I get it less now. The return was not what a top 10 HR hitter in the league in his controllable prime should bring you. Not even close. Ifs and buts they say...it may have been fine if Santana hadn't gotten hurt. Who knows?
  23. http://www.baseball-reference.com/leagues/split.cgi?t=b&lg=MLB&year=2016 The batter walks 90% of the time but the 3-0 pitch is not ball 4 90% of the time. IF IN FACT, pitch 4 is a ball 40% of the time that someone suggested, but batting averages are 41% on pitch 4...which would you rather have? Unless I'm reading that Stat wrong...could be. Edit:someone else mentione it.
