Pinky...it is tough, it took me awhile to get the hang of it when I used to play. You could use 3, but I think it would be tough. Thats just me though. -
He appears to call most every pitch wrong. Rickie couldnt catch up to the high heat there....Bill that must have been some heater that "curved" and went 78 mph.

How do they get their ratings. I just looked, Brauns fielding is the highest on the team. Hall and Hardy have the same speed.

I know that you're not necessarily advocating trading LaPorta, merely mentioning the possibility, but I wouldn't part with him for a closer. I agree. I was just wondering if/when he would be available at all. Others had been bringing his name up and I wasnt sure if it was the full year or he would be available mid season(as peavy pointed out.) I also would not give up Laporta for a closer. Like others have mentioned, it costs alot to get a proven closer, we might have to find someone from within. -

Am I right to assume we cant trade Laporta yet? Or did the date pass. I thought we had to wait until the next upcoming draft. -
I always thought lance did that. It is funny that you mention it though, my friends who were watching the games with me(casual fans) asked me if that guy is any good. Im like, yea, hes pretty good. They thought he didnt look much like a baseball player. I then wondered how you "look" like a baseball player.

Yea, it was amazing. I was telling my girlfriend that the game will probably end on a fluke bounce or cheap goal. Glad that wasnt the case. Good stuff, great to see. I had been playing call of duty till late and I was pleasently surprised.

The guy appeared to be out at first. Perhaps getting squeezed a bit. It might just be my frustration with another blown save. It looked obvious to me. Perhaps not.

I love the umpires. It seems like this year the umps have been terrible Not only in Brewer games, but all over.

While its not good to laugh at anyone for getting hurt. I would be excited if I was them. Our chances of being a legit contender just went down big time. I really only saw 1 post that seemed to be laughing at Yo. A few others maybe made a small poke at the Brewers in general, others felt bad for him. I am sure our board would be the same if big Z went down.

If you want sports games, PS3 and xbox would be what you want. Wii is more "cartoonish" and multiplayer games. If you get the big PS3 it has backwards compatability, so your gf would be able to play old school Crash.(most ps2 games work in my ps3) Also, there are adventure games coming out for ps3. xbox has a wider range of games at the moment though. With the Wii, most of their games are set up that you have to use the nunchucks during game play. As far as I know, ive only played on one for about 5-10 times. Also, I know you have a DVD player already, but the ps3 comes with a blu-ray dvd player. If you get an HD tv it looks ALOT better. Also, its nice going to the movie store and being able to rent blu-ray movies because all the regular ones are already rented http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif My choice would be the PS3, I have it and love my sports games that ive played. Although, ive never been too big in the mario games n such. The Wii is a ton of fun for the first week or 2...then it gets boring.(says my friend who owns one.) Ive played mario party and it was a blast, but I could see it getting old quickly.

Thats what I told him as well. I didnt know basically anything about it. After he mentioned it I watched some on my own and I told him the same thing. He thinks that since the poles are gonna flip, that is whats going to help with Earth's "downfall." I just thought those videos are neat and something fun to think about. I definatly am one for conspiracies :-D

Interesting. I will hit home runs with the contact swing. They usually just BARELY go out. They get robbed alot. That annoys me as well. I will admit though. When I use the power swing, its on fastball counts where I get a fastball up in the zone. Ive hardly ever taken one out on an off speed pitch, using the power swing. But last year I never used the power swing. Probably less then 5 times ever, never had a problem hitting homers.

What about Kendall? They have him 9 so he wont hit into as many DPs. Seems to be working thus far.

Last year it was easy to hit home runs with the contact swing. Ive found that the power swing actually works this year, as opposed to last year. Of course, if you dont get a meatball your not going to hit it well. The homer runs will come, just keep working on moving the left analog into the zone. There are alot of people who dont play "fair" online. Using starting pitchers is quite lame. I try to play people that have 3* or higher for a rating. They usually play pretty legit.

My friend just brought this up to me 2 days ago as well. I was going to start a topic, then thought...nah, noone will know what im talking about. Weird. ANyways, he was going into the Mayan calender, and the 2 sun theory and this and that. He also mentioned crossing the equator in the galaxy, thus flopping the poles and magnets or something. It was alittle much, definatly interesting. He said the world was going to "end" on Dec. 21 2012. If you go to youtube, there are some neat videos that try to explain it. It was pretty interesting to look at.

I have played all 3 to an extensive amount. I will say that I have ALWAYS been a playstation guy. WII is more multiplayer/cartoonish type games.(not that cartoonish is bad, more like mario and such.) PS3 and XBOX are more sports and everything else. IMO. I would prefer the PS3(I have one) The Wii would be my next choice...ive played alot of games and they have been alot of fun. I like the sports and shooter games...ive always liked ps3. Hence...the choice for me.

I had a buddy that used to be able to do the snake. I could do it to a small amount. It is VERY difficult, I dont consider it cheating. It might be alittle bush league. It is very hard to do though.

Last year Amare gets suspended, but noone from Boston gets suspended. I hate the NBA. I think its partially rigged.

That episode is ridiculous. It looks like they took parts from like 3 different games. The one doesnt even look like the cubs, but the old expos. I am giggling right now.
