  1. Yea, crappy ice for sure, but I always get excited with outdoor hockey as I still do it once a year myself.
  2. Yea, this is generally true. However, I had seats on the glass right to the side of the Wild tendy those few years ago and the view was amazing. We were also right next to the doors where the Wild girls came out to shovel snow...also not a bad perk. Ha. My season tickets for the Badgers are right on the goaline about 15 rows up and the view is awesome. Only trouble is seeing the far near corner, so the jumbotron gets my eyes for those few seconds. Sounds awesome and I am happy to hear you enjoyed it!
  3. Badgers land a DL from LSU - stats look good on him.
  4. Bucky drops another tough one on the road. Up 3-1 and lose 4-3 and Strammel gets another game winner. 9 and 11 or so, but could just as easily have a few more wins(or losses).
  5. How was the game? I also had tickets on the glass for a Wild game and it was awesome, though this was like 6 years ago(or more). Do they still do the Audi club?
  6. Pretty sure he had a flexor strain at the end of last year. Would stink if he's injured, obviously.
  7. Next year I think. Even before he got injured I think he would have slowed down.
  8. Saturday home results. win 3-2 in OT with like 20 seconds left. Lost 2-1 Lost 3-2 in OT with the game winner being a sauce pass batted out of the air. Tie 1-1 where Badgers score with like 20 seconds left. Lost 3-2 in OT Us Saturday holders have had a lot of heartache! Yes, they need more goal scored. They have had breakaways the last 2 OTs and get nothing.
  9. Injury.
  10. They are 2-6, but they have dominated every game except the 2nd Denver game. Even the first game they probably should have won. Like you said, they need to score more than 2 goals. Funny connection that I just found out. A kid I grew up with played for Hastings in Juniors. Apparently the first thing they were told was, 'If you don't want to play at this end of the ice, the door is over there.' And he was referring to the D zone. I can see it, their D zone coverage is so much better than under Granato.
  11. Yea, this team is going to struggle to score goals 5 on 5. Losing Whitelaw and Lucius are going to hurt. In other notes, I saw that Urdahl has 3 goals and I think Stange had a game winner this year too for Omaha.
  12. The velocity does seem down and the cutter and the sweeper definitely appear to not be moving as much as well. Or at least...moving differently.
  13. Yes. However, I would also say that Hudson has not looked as sharp since returning from the IL earlier in the year. Though, I am just using my eyes and memory on that. I am sure someone knows where to look to find that.
  14. Brutal - to be fair, it feels like they have had plenty of hard hit outs. Not that it makes it any better.
  15. They gave Vazquez a hit there and the error for the 2nd run...lol.
  16. A few just missed tonight too. Hopefully the pen is ready to shut em down!
  17. I wont judge the results based on facing the Dodgers. With that said, not getting guys out with 2 strikes is a common theme with the Brewers right now. A lot of movement on the pitches.
  18. Pretty sure they are number 4 in the nation as of today. Kind of wild. Hopefully they can put it together this year.
  19. 39 here and finishing up year 15. I teach 3rd grade and overall it is still enjoyable. I am at that age where students are still excited(or at least fine) with school, but you can still talk to them and goof around. Though, all of the paperwork and extra stuff is starting to grind my gears.
  20. That's what I had heard. I really enjoyed the latest Mad Max, so I was hopeful this would be good. I think I will just wait until it can be streamed instead of going to the theater for it.
  21. I still remember back in the mid-2000s when only like 140 games were actually on TV. Me and my buddies hated that! We have apple, but it is kind of annoying how there are so many streaming services taking games for the major sports. Needed Peacock for some Badger games, apple for Brewers, Netflix for NFL, etc. Didn't the Suns owner just come out and decide that he was going to have every game available to be watching in the area? I feel like I remember seeing that.
  22. I wonder if Perez was tipping his pitches. Ortiz, Chourio, and El Gary all hammered change ups. The change ups to Chourio and Sanchez weren't great pitches, but it was an 0-0 or 0-1 count, and the one to Ortiz was low and out of the zone.
