  1. Service here is pretty bad, so my stuff won't load. Hasn't O'Hearn been pretty bad the last month or so? If they arent able to upgrade at short, it'd be nice to have some infield depth at least.
  2. At one point the last 3 outs were over 100 mph, but in general, yes. No hitter for Kirby.
  3. I think you might be missing the joke...
  4. Is this similar to Kinives Out or Murder on the Orient Express type movies?
  5. Last night Golden State was getting +money at halftime with a +1.5 spread. I realize Curry was hurt, but they were up like 15 at half.
  6. Team is not good enough to overcome poor defense...let alone mental lapses.
  7. Peg looks good. That team feels like it was built for the playoffs. Speaking of built for the playoffs. I see Landeskog just so happens to be healthy in time to join his team for the playoffs but not have his salary count against the team. Seems like we get one of these every year. Also, I hate the current playoff system. Go back to 1-8 and reseed after each round.
  8. That is good news. I was reading an article on the BIG tournament and it had a lot of good sticking points. The gist of it was the tournament is too long, and if you get bounced week 1 you have a 19 day stretch until the tournament. If you are the 1 seed and had the last weekend off you have s 2 week break before your semi matchup. I dont know the answer to fixing it, but that happened to the Badgers last year snd they looked slow to start. Happened to Minnesotz this year, so I will be curious how they play.
  9. 3 seed in Denver with the 6 being BYU. Ouch.
  10. I wonder if they would they maybe just wait until it warms up a bit?
  11. I have no doubt. Without looking - they were like 3 and 10 and 2 in OT games. That is shockingly bad. And that doesn't include any other 1 goal games.
  12. I was just having this conversation after my game last night with the boys. It would be nice to see the Wild be successful, but it just never happens.
  13. This team would have been quite good if Whitelaw and Lucius had stayed. Strammel seemed to improve with his move and I see Stange filled up the stat sheet this year in Omaha as well.
  14. Just a wildly awful way to lose.
  15. 5 on 5 ot instead of 3 on 3.
  16. Sickening. Finley misses an empty netter that would have put the game away. Then OSU comes down and ties it.
  17. They are so good. I have never been to a womens game, but I have often talked about taking my daughter. I need to do a better job of getting her there to see a game. In other news, our local high school girls team is in the sectional final tonight. Im hopeful they can win and make a trip to state. I coach a handful of them in tennis, so I will try to tune in via livebarn or youtube.
  18. This Badger team is really frustrating. First losing season in Hastings career. I did see he said they haven't gotten enough out of goal tending this year. I saw a stat that was staggering. During the 6 game skid their goalies have like a 70% save percentage in the 3rd period while their opponents is like 92% or something. To go a step further, this team seemingly out shoots everybody.
  19. Tough weekend. Badgers probably need to win out the regular season or maybe got 5-1 with a good showing in the first round of the BIG10 tourny to be on the inside of the bubble. And even that might not get it done.
  20. Yep. I say this every time we go to OT. They just don't have enough scorers. Last year's team had a bunch and the older guys knew how to score. A guy from my hometown played for Hastings in Juniors, and the first thing Hastings said was, 'If you don't want to play on this end of the ice you can leave.' As he pointed to the D zone. So you can kind of see what kind of game he likes to play.
  21. Pairwise is the computer ranking and all that matters. The USCHO ranking is just like...hockey dudes ranking the top 20. Speaking of pairwise...Bucky at 16. Need to be top 15 to even have a shot at a special. 12 to be safe imo. Another Saturday OT game. That's 6 of 7 home games.
  22. Bucky somehow 17th in the pairwise. 2-7-2 in OT games now. 5 of the 6 Saturday games have been OT now.
