Brewers Wild Card Watch Party?

I'm surprised that is not being done actually. Gives them a chance to sell more overpriced concessions... -
2019 MLB Playoffs Preview and Discussion
TURBO replied to Eye Black's topic in Archived Game Threads
Nope, not on Tuesday. There is no chance, 0% that he is allowed to pitch 7 innings, not to mention, he doesn't have the stamina built up even if they wanted him to go 7. If we get a solid 3 innings we will be doing great! -
I'm thinking that CC riding Grandal as hard as he has the past month means they might not have any plans to bring him back. Reminds me of Sabathia. We aren't going to re-sign him, so get the most innings you possibly can from them, and let their next team deal with the wear and tear...

and made the playoffs? That is pretty amazing really...
-
ugh!

What a complete crap-show this series was/is.
-
The format is fine. Don't want to play a potential one and done, then win the division. Play in games should not be a "best of". My point is, I don't like the "play-in" format. I don't think a 162 season should come down to a "play-in" game.

Tapia is pesky.

I no longer watch the NFL, haven't watched a single play since the debacle of 2 seasons ago. Don't miss it in the least. It was becoming unwatchable before they gave me a reason to stop watching all together anyway...
-
I just really hate the wild card format. The season is just too long for a sudden death play-off format. At the very least, it should be a 2 of 3 series, but even that feels cheap.
-
This does not look like the Ray Black we saw last time. Seems like different guys all together.
-
Perfect ending to a crazy regular season...
-
Ok, wild card it is.
-
Can't blame the Cubs this weekend. They took care of business for us, but we just pulled off the choke job all on our own.
-
walks, walks, walks... I don't know if this is accurate, and I'm guessing it is not, but it feels like we have walked more guys than any season before. It just gets old.

What killed our chances for the division happened long ago. There are probably a dozen games you could point to in months other than September. or 2 dozen...

Screw Joe Maddon [update 10/16: Maddon hired by Angels]
TURBO replied to Brewcrewin07's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports that the Pirates have fired manager Clint Hurdle. There was a report on Wednesday that the Pirates were going to retain Hurdle for the 2020 season, but it was never confirmed by the club and has now proven to be false. Hurdle, who won't manage Sunday's regular-season finale against the Reds, finishes with a 735-720 record in his nine years as skipper in Pittsburgh. The team is 69-92 with one game left to play in 2019. Source: Ken Rosenthal on Twitter Sep 29, 2019, 1:53 PM ET -
Is #1 Game 7 of the 1982 World Series and #2 Game 7 of the 2018 NLCS? I would think that the KOTSAY in CF game would be up there too.
-
Flaherty is going tomorrow. they aren't getting swept. It's over. Did you just come back to spread your BS? If so, it was a lot nicer around here when you were gone. Honor your word.
-
I didn't want to say it but I didn't feel good abut him either. I just can't believe the nut punch this game was...well heading to Washington..what a choke job. This was my concern, the Cubs would give them the help they needed and the Crew couldn't capitalize. Just imagine, the Brewers could be 1 game up heading into tomorrow and in the drivers seat had they taken care of business. Well, you checked out on this team weeks ago, so why would you care? Yeah, why are you (Brewcrewin07) even here? I remember your promise that you would leave. Not much for a man of your word I guess.
-
There is blame to go around on this loss.
-
Now we need a Cubs sweep, and a salvage win to tie for the division. Not good.
