  1. I disagree, umps are not kings or gods. Moose was not confrontational, you could see his body language. Easterbrook was just being a power hungry turd.
  2. Yup, just started it. On episode 5. I like it so far... Really cool concept.
  3. Or perhaps I am right... I don't think it would be hard to find 20 other posters who agree with me, yet you guys continue to hammer my opinion because you don't agree with it. That's fine. There are no stats that you can throw at me that prove he is a good 3B coach. I know better, I've seen enough to know why I formed my opinion. But your opinion could be very wrong, since it's based on basically nothing other than your own observations of just him and nothing else, as you've clearly said. It's fine if you have an opinion. Where your opinion is getting "hammered on": is because actual facts suggest it's wrong, and you've stated that you don't care. That's generally not the best way to be on the correct side of arguing a point... actual facts? ok then...
  4. You would think our manager would realize this, but apparently he does not.

  6. I simply don't care about the other 90%, I only care about the Brewers, and our 3B coach is bad, very bad. Doesn't change the fact that his judgement is poor in certain situations. He is bad at his job.
  7. The eyeball test is what people rely on when their opinion isn't factually correct. How many other 3B coaches have you extensively watched to determine their performance relative to his? None, I just know that the windmill is bad at what he does because I watch 150 games a year...
  8. Did anyone blame Sedar for that play? If so, there was nothing anyone could do abut it. It was just terribly unlucky. I'm not going to go abck and read, but I don't think anyone actually blamed him for that play specifically, it's all the other boneheaded ones...
  9. Has anyone watched Westworld? It has been recommended to me and I admit, it looks interesting... Is it worth my time?
  10. Stats and stats but there is something to be said for the eyeball test. Sedar is not a good 3B coach. He sends guys that are not only out at the plate, but out by a great deal. Sometimes 20 feet. He is bad, and no stat you throw out there can convince otherwise.
  11. If we sign Kimbrel before the draft and give up a 4th round pick, I'm going to be unhappy. If we do it now and give up the pick, we should have done it a long time ago and used the guy up until this time. I don't see it happening until the draft is over.
  12. I think he can! Discuss...
  13. I think all the people judging Hiura on 20 MLB at bats are being ridiculous. Give the kid a chance. Imagine what goes through your head the first couple of weeks in the show. Geez.
  14. Nobody is going to want Thames. Moving him for anything other than a salary dump is a pipe dream.
  15. Still lots of game left. Down one run doesn't mean we can't steal this one away.
  16. Claudio pitching to right handers = Kotsay playing CF in a play off game. You just know something bad is going to happen...
  17. Braun is far too old and experienced to make a boneheaded play like that. Throwing to 2B with a man on 3rd who wasn't going to score had Braun made the smart decision there? DUMB!
  18. Again, I never mentioned Hiura. I haven't looked at that Archer thread, but I wouldn't be shocked if there were in fact some that said they would have given up Hiura though. It would be interesting to read through that thread. I admit I was unhappy with the Yelich trade. I really wanted to keep Diaz and Harrison, but I was completely wrong.
  19. In general? I'm sure a lot. Today? Not at all. well...…………………………….DUH!
