That is just Cardinals hate talking, there is no way that Matheny is thinking about the games that Rosenthal blew vs the 5th worst team in baseball. he has a year of pretty dominating pitching to make him forget those 2 games against the Brewers.

So we are keeping Windmill Eddie? That is disappointing to say the least. If I was able to pick one coach to go, he would have been the one, yet he is one of only a couple that are staying... *sigh*

Acquiring Papelbon as their closer, and inserting him immediately was asinine to begin with. Why mess with something that had worked all season long? Storen had dominated the closer role right up until the day Papelbon replaced him. This wasn't a move made to replace a struggling closer, this was a move made to insert a "name" closer where it wasn't needed, and it didn't work, it imploded the entire team. Had the Brewers made a move like this, I would have been furious, to the point of a possible boycott. Whoever made that decision to begin with was an absolute idiot! -

Rodriguez is a jerk? I have heard only that he is a good influence on the clubhouse and the bullpen... Now, if you are talking about his domestic life, then I can understand, but I don't think he is a jerk at all to his teammates.

It's the perfect time to get Reed at bats. These games mean nothing, why on earth would you not want to take a look at our possible CF option for the future? Schafer is not in our future plans, at least, I don't think he is. Maybe CC thinks differently. I just don't understand this line of thinking...

I can no longer stomach the Hupy and Abraham commercials. The constant repetition of the commercials has slowly driven me mad all season long... Wish there was a way to bypass them.
