  1. Thankfully, Gomez or Braun being out a few games doesn't automatically mean we have to suffer through Logan Schafer ("human waste of roster space")... If both are out at the same time though, oh boy...
  2. I'm kind of glad the fan vote is NOT a bobble, we collectors are bobbled out this year...
  3. How do you know he HAS tried? American style people? Please explain...
  4. Why, no one tells Gomez to stop swinging out of HIS helmet...
  5. [sarcasm][/sarcasm] 1/1 2014 spring training 0/6 2015 spring training no attempts during the season Thanks, I think I might give it a try and see what happens... I have some cool photos I took when he was with the T-Rats last season...
  6. How about Wang, any information on his return rate?
  7. I was in Orlando (Universal Studios and Harry Potter World) over spring break... That didn't bug me, but what did bug me, and still does, is the teenagers that I saw wearing the "I can't breathe" t-shirts... I must have seen 7 or 8 different teens wearing them. I so wanted to ask them a couple of questions, but that could have started something regrettable. Question #1 : Do you know what that shirt means that you are wearing? Question #2 : Have you ever personally experienced police brutality, or anything relating to what your shirt stands for? Question #3 : Are you wearing that shirt to be cool, or because you believe in what it stands for? Ugh.
  8. To you autograph expert guys, is it worth sending Aramis Ramirez an 8x10 that I took while he was rehabbing with the T-Rats last season, or would it just be a waste of time and postage? Also sent Taylor Williams an 8x10 last season that was never returned, and I still never got one I sent Tyler Thornburg almost 4 years ago, I think I can count that one as a loss...
  9. That play at first should have been challenged.
  10. oh man...we are not a good team right now, not a good team at all.
  11. I am down to needing only 1, the 1994. I have an extra 1995 and 2014 as well as others for trade if anyone has the 94 they'd be willing to get rid of... I'd also be willing to purchase! Pm if interested. thanks!
  12. Ramirez at clean-up is concerning... The more I look at the way this roster is structured, the more I think we are in need of some changes...
  13. Speaking of Brett Lawrie, did you see his excellent night a couple days ago? Struck out 4 times on a grand total of 12 pitches. He's a bust and end of story. So you are judging him on one night of play? Don't get me wrong, I am not saying he is or isn't a bust, just saying I don't think he can be labeled just yet. And since when is stating an opinion like "He's a bust and end of story" allowed to be posted as fact?
  14. Molitor Yount Cooper Prince Reluctantly, I put Molitor on the list, but I still hold a grudge, a grudge that only .0000009 % of Brewers fans agree with. I am in the minority on Molitor and his reasons for leaving... Yount is a given. I loved Gantner and Gorman, but don't feel they belong on this list. If only we could have held onto Prince, but I'm still including him as one of my choices. Sheets, had he been able to stay healthy is an obvious choice, and I want to include him, but just can't. I was a huge Cooper fan back in the day, he always seemed so clutch. I want to put Braun on this list really badly, but just can't do it. I still love the guy as a player, and if he comes back and even resembles his pre-PED self, he will be on this list at #2 in my eyes. For now, I can't add him. I don't think Rollie was here long enough to be in the top 4 .
  15. http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/l/lawribr01.shtml Let's call him what he was in 2011: A PED guy and move on. You can call it what you want, but the guy is still young, and giving him a label, positive or negative, is just too early in his career................in my opinion.
  16. Still too early to say Lawrie is a bust in my opinion...
  17. Why does this surprise anyone? This has been going on for as long as RRR has been our manager. Ask the Cardinals if they fear any retaliation when they play us...They would laugh in your face. Our manager is fine with complacency and wimpiness. That is his personality, so it only makes sense that his team would incorporate the same attitude.
  18. The point of this thread isn't that we do good things, it is that we do an excessive amount of bad things, undisciplined things, things that make us go....hmmm. We darn well better have more good plays than bad, if not, we are doomed before we even start. As a fan of the team, it is only normal to expect less dumb and undisciplined plays from an experienced squad and an experienced manager. The real shocker in my book is the fact that our manager still has a job in this organization at all. I'll never understand why we put up with a bumbling manager, there is nothing wrong with expecting better than what we get each and every day with this guy. As far as Gomez goes, he is maddening to say the least, but he sure is exciting to watch. His base running errors should be fewer each year, but that hasn't been the case. Swinging out of his helmet at least once per at bat is just plain stupid, yet it continues. I love the guy, but there are times when I can't stand to watch him too...
  19. I never understand this line of thinking...
  20. I think it is about time we hold RRR accountable for his stupidity. For years, people have been making excuse for the guy, his leash should be shorter than ever at this point. In the course of 2 games played this season, he has already made several head scratching moves. It's time to realize that the direction this team is going under his management is not the direction that this organization should be headed. Time for a change.
  21. I've never really heard Ryan Braun make excuses for anything, I think that may be a bit harsh...
