Oh man, those are some tough choices... hmmmm Maybe they should have done a Taylor and Arcia during the season instead of some of the lame choices they are doing (Hank the freaking Dog, Lorenzo Cain, and Mike Jirschele) I get it, the Royals went to the world series, so Cain and Jirschele, even though neither one have anything to do with this organization any longer. There is nothing more to say about another Hank the Dog bobble. This dog will be beaten to death and shoved down our throats as long as people continue to think he is so cute, and he sells merchandise, blah blah blah... I can live with their other choices as they seem to like to do Brewers who re-hab in Appleton (Ramirez, Lucroy, even though Lucroy already has a bobble in a t-rats uniform) Peralta and Nelson were former members of the T-Rats and are still in the organization. Not sure we needed another Coulter since we just had one 2 years ago, but I can live with that choice as well. Fang is the mascot, got to keep the kiddies happy, so let's put him in a corvette... Arcia and Taylor deserve a bobble in a T-Rats uniform, so I will probably vote for one of the two. Would love a Harrison and Medeiros bobble... Man, tough choices for sure, I can only hope it is a full sized bobble, not the semi-minis that they are now doing...

He may have been ticked, angry, disappointed, whatever, but he did nothing to improve the situation. Making idle threats to discover the people responsible for the suckiness that occurred at the end of the season, and to get rid of them was a joke and an empty threat. RRR still has a job.

Was thinking the same thing. We never got the good explanation from either Mark or Doug. Maybe they just think we're all sheep and will support the team no matter what. and sadly, they would be correct.....for the majority of us anyway. Not so much the casual fans, but most of the posters here are pretty passionate about this team. -

Same here, in my eyes, there is only one team to root for. For better or worse, the only team that gets my allegiance is the Milwaukee Brewers, no split loyalties, no picking a new team because my team sucks, no fair weather fandom here, EVER! I may get negative on my team, but they are still my team, and all I want is success for them...

Just wondering, but do you honestly think a new manager is what is causing this teams offensive woes? I hear a lot of complaining about RR but can never really get to that thinking that just some new manager will all of a sudden get Lucroy to hit or Braun back to his all star abilities. It just doesn't make sense to me. Managers mean very little in baseball when it comes to the talent playing up to their abilities. Someone has to be accountable, and if our manager doesn't make the players accountable, well, you can figure it out... I'm not blaming RRR for Lucroy and Brauns struggles, but I am blaming him for being a horrible game manager and decision maker. I think the players view RRR's tactics and management as stale. We don't win with him, the players seem to have ho-hum attitudes, which is a direct reflection on management. I don't understand when people say that managers have no impact on games outcomes or performance of the players. If that is true, then why have a MGR at all, why not let the players set the line-ups and make the game time decisions? RRR is a terrible manager, and it is time for a change. The fact he is still here after last year's debacle is amazing to me...

If we get swept, and play like we have up to this point, I don't know how RRR can keep his job. Couple the start of this season with last year's collapse, he should already be a dead man walking...

All true, however, there are a lot of new guys that show up on occasion, only to be chased off by the regs that can't understand that there are others out there that know as much as they do... I love this site, but it tends to be pretty hard on new guys. Anyone that shows up here and doesn't have a thick skin can get discouraged from posting here pretty quickly... -
Nothing less than a bronze statue right next to the other Milwaukee baseball legends like Aaron, Yount, Selig, etc! sadly, I do not think that should be in blue, that COULD actually happen...

to please casual fans? the casual fan doesn't even know how bad RRR is, the casual fan might not even be able to tell you who our manager is... RRR needs to be fired for many reasons, but the casual fan isn't one of them.

The team was in 1st place that long in spite of our manager, not because of him... I like the fact that so many are finally starting to understand that RRR is a detriment to this team. I have been saying so for a couple years now, as you all know, but it appears that a lot of posters are starting to feel the same as me.
