  1. So you thought that the first game with a new manager, this would magically stop? When it has been ingrained in them for years, it isn't going to change that quickly. Go figure...
  2. ABSOLUTELY! I was thinking the same thing... and Braun just said "more energy tonight" so I think the players are feeling the difference.
  3. Craig looks like a little kid in that dugout........He kind of looks like a young RRR....*shudder*
  4. That Craig Counsell sure knows how to manage a baseball game...
  5. It isn't the money that bothers most fans, it's the loss of the 1st round pick... A team like ours just can't afford to lose that high of a draft pick, it made no sense, and still doesn't.
  6. ^Nice! Wonder what Counsell said to Parra when he got back in the dugout?
  7. Counsell doesn't seem like a guy that is going to pull a Matingly, he seems more on the RRR side... We shall see...
  8. Nice to see a manager with some fire in his belly...
  9. No more RRR post-games... That in itself is a reason to celebrate!
  10. LIKE! I wish I could add to this, but it is too perfect to mess with.
  11. They won 96 games in spite of him, not because of him....Glad for the change, it was long overdue... Agreed. Again, roster matters more than manager. Of course roster matters, but saying the manager has no say in the win loss column is backwards thinking in my opinion. I have never understood the opinion that managers have no effect on wins and losses, I just can't comprehend that line of thinking...
  12. I don't think it is about hurting each other, I think it is more about protecting your teammates, and sending messages... I don't want guys getting head hunted, but I do want guys getting hit in the leg or butt to send a message that if you come after my guy, I'm coming after yours. This has nothing to do with macho nonsense, it has to do with how the game has been played since its inception.
  13. I absolutely hate rationale of this kind. That has nothing to do with it! Everyone knows Ron Roenicke isnt a motivator, hes not a guy to light a fire under your ass, hes got a horrible philosophy on how to play the game of baseball, and he's not going to make you afraid of making an ill-advised mistake because he wants aggressiveness no matter how stupid it is. He's a bad manager because his philosophy teaches aggression yet he doesnt have the balls to to get PO'd at a guy when he does something stupid because it would only contradict himself. I hope, like the Bucks, its someone the players will listen to and respect. So how did they ever win 96 games with him? They won 96 games in spite of him, not because of him....Glad for the change, it was long overdue...

  15. I'll be looking to trade for one if anyone will have extras... I'll have extras of all the T-Rats bobbles, including Hank the Dog, Fang in the Corvette, Lorenzo Cain, Mike Fiers, Aramis Ramirez, Wily Peralta, and Jimmy Nelson. PM me if you'd want to set up a trade...
  16. I was crushed when they traded him, I saw some great appearances in a t-rats uniform, and he was also a friendly kid in the auto lines... Still bums me out.
  17. Reynolds will be looking for the longball here...nothing else...
  18. ^this Best of luck to you man, feel free to update us, and to vent if necessary...
  19. I agree, there are a lot better choices for Brewers fans than Lorenzo Cain and Mike Jirschele (I also can't stand the though of yet another Hank the freaking Dog). Why not capitalize on Tyrone Taylor and Orlando Arcia, 2 of our top prospects instead? Brewer fans would clamor to get to those!
  20. Like it says, I have an extra 2014 Jean Segura Season Ticket Holder bobblehead, new in box, that I'd like to trade for the 2015 Jonathan Lucroy Season Ticket Holder bobblehead. PM me if interested! Thanks in advance!
  21. The next bobble game is this Friday, Lorenzo Cain.
  22. RRR whining about the called strikes... That is a sign of desperation. He is a desperate man, desperate to keep his job.
  23. I'm going to brave the weather and go see the T-Rats tonight...Suffering through another Brewer game, at home, in a warm house is less appealing than going across town, in 30 degree weather to see a team play that actually gives a rip...
