ummmm, I did not "go off" on K-Rod... You probably shouldn't rely too much on posts in the game threads as they are made during the heat of actual games. Maybe I should have just said "K-Rod makes me nervous" and I wouldn't have had a thread about my IGT comment. Oh, and PS, I do hate watching him pitch, that is how I feel in and out of the IGT thread.

Looks like we are going to have a K-Rod roller coaster session in the bottom of the 9th. He scares me in Colorado. He scares me wherever he pitches, but I am really afraid in Rockie country. Hopefully, we can tack on about 6 this inning and not need to see K-Rod.

That is a gritty, battling line-up we have out there today. Will probably put up 10 runs.

My memory is of a guy who looked outmatched when we needed him most. My memory of him was of a guy who looked like he didn't belong on a major league roster.

These commercials are killing me. Do we have to watch the same commercials, night after night, all freaking season? Man, I'm not sure I can take this another 3-4 months.

I don't think anyone is saying to replace Garza with Fiers or Nelson, my comment was strictly based on the fact that he sucks. It is natural when we spend that kind of cash on a guy, that we expect him to produce. Estrada should be replaced by Nelson immediately. Nelson can't do any worse than Estrada. I am not a fan of Fiers. He had his chance, and didn't get it done. I just don't have any faith in the guy as far as pitching in MLB.

Garza sure looks like a horrible investment. He can't field a ball and make a throw to a base, he can't hold a runner, he has pretty much been a bust so far. I don't see any way we can count on him if we were to make the play-offs.

The conversation changes if Lucroy doesn't hit that Grand Slam though. I know there are a lot of posters here who would like retaliation on occasion when warranted, myself included. Had Luc struck out, or grounded out, or whatever, and we don't score those 4 runs on one swing, would everyone be here saying it was handled properly? I'm just posing the question. Sure, we look great when Lucroy jacks a grand slam after Braun being plunked on purpose, but had that gone down differently, I'm not so sure everyone here would be patting ourselves on the back for handling that situation in the manner it was handled... Had Lucroy not taken "revenge" with that next swing, I can see people being a little more angry about Braun being hit with no retaliation... Just sayin'...

With the amount of these showing up on ebay for ridiculous prices, I'm not sure that anyone purchasing them at the team store are even keeping them for themselves. Seems like they are all being purchased to list on ebay. -

Can't trade him, that ship has sailed... AAA seems like a fine idea, as long as he isn't on the big club, who cares at this point. It is seeming impossible to win with him on the mound unless we have tremendous offense on the days he pitches. I no longer care what we do with him, just get him out of the rotation, and only pitch him out of the bullpen in mop up situations...Oh wait, we already have a guy like that in Wang. PS I love Khris Davis!

Makes it easier when Gomez is almost half way to 3rd base, then has to come all the way back to 1B... These base running mistakes are ridiculous. As good as Gomez is, he certainly makes his share of mistakes on the base paths...
