are there any tricks to getting extra bobbles at the bobble games? I will be at Sunday's Prince game, wouldn't mind getting a hold of a couple of extras...

It is the pinstripe SGA, not the powder blue. If anyone needs it, I am willing to strike a deal as I have an extra one. Would be willing to trade it for bobbles from this season if anyone plans on getting extras. I won't need a Prince or JJ Hardy as I already have tickets to those games.

I'm going to have a couple extras from the June 22nd game if anyone is willing to make a trade. I will need a 2008 Braun for sure, and probably a 2008 Hart. Might need a Hardy, might need a Barrell Man... Would be willing to give anyone a polish sausage for any of the ones above. Still looking for a 2006 70's Yount sga as well... well, how serious was his injury last season? I had him on 2 fantasy teams and he was basically useless due to injury. Was his injury one that will cause difficulty in the future? He seems like a risk to me. In fact, it seems every player we show interest in on this board is an injury risk.

agreed. people generally don't care about others anymore, it's all about taking care of your own, screw everyone else these days. there are probably a LOT of kids out there not getting a wii this christmas because their parents simply can not afford to pay the scalpers prices. I'm lucky I got mine, but I was never going to pay a cent more than the $250 retail not because I can't afford to, but on principal. It is just annoying.

if a million "average joes" pick up 2 extra ones to scalp on ebay, then that IS a problem... that is 2 million units that people who want to walk into a store and buy one, can't... Nintendo dropped the ball by not preparing for the holiday season throughout the year, but the scalpers aren't helping things.

why on earth did you need to buy a "few?" that crap angers me... people who buy a few and sell them for a profit are the exact reason there is a shortage. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

got one last week on gamestop.com had to buy it in a bundle, but it was well worth it as the stuff that came in the bundle was all stuff on my kid's list. Paid $480 for the wii system (comes with remote and nunchuck), Mario 8, high school musical sing with mic, wii play (with 2nd remote), extra nunchuk, 1GB memory card, charging station... Add them up individually and it comes to around $480. Had to pay $20 for shipping but that is no big deal. Anyway, it ended up perfectly for me, not sure if they still have them though...

odds are, Braun's offensive numbers might take a dip with a position change... I hate the fact that we assume anyone can be turned into an outfielder. Just because Yount was able to do it, doesn't mean that anyone can...
