  1. I don't think anyone is crying, or complaining... I find it interesting that when they say they are giving out 250, that actually, there are a lot more than that possibly on the open market. By the way, collecting the bobbles is a hobby for some, I highly doubt they are the most important thing in the world to anyone, however, you should be happy that so many are willing to pay those prices for them since you are able to sell them...
  2. we had a poster on this site who seemed to have "quite a few" of these for sale... Seemed like he could get as many as he wanted... Were these from the third party or the SGAs, I don't know...
  3. got a link for those auctions? if anyone is interested, I'm sure the link would help.
  4. this is asinine... those sigs will NEVER be worth what is being paid for them. Everyone saves all the sigs now-a-days, they aren't rare, they are just sigs... I only get autos if they cost me nothing but postage or legwork. These guys and their agents are freaking crazy, and it would be nice if people were smart enough to not show up at these crazy events.
  5. WOW! Now that IS classy... I think I need to send him a ball too, I don't have his autograph.
  6. That is way too much, plus $10 shipping, so $40 ? This listing has been on ebay for a long time, the seller is somewhat of a jerk. Ridiculous. This guy has had them (5) up for months, and no one is taking him up on his price. I emailed him to offer less, and he was rude, so screw him...
  7. believe me, I think $35 is too much as well, I must have been in a weak moment because $25 is the most I'd want to pay too...
  8. thanks! I check ebay about once a week and missed this one, it might be a new listing though. That is way more than I am willing to pay, I'll see if he will take less. Thanks again! I contacted him, but he wouldn't go down much. I offered him $35 which would include shipping. He said if I picked it up, he would take $35, but not shipped. So, I am still in search of the Hammonds and the Yount... *sigh*
  9. thanks! I check ebay about once a week and missed this one, it might be a new listing though. That is way more than I am willing to pay, I'll see if he will take less. Thanks again!
  10. Today, I got a surprise in the mail... Autographed 8 x 10 of Corey Hart that I sent him about 6 weeks ago... NICE!
  11. thanks for the tip...
  12. ...I am missing a few boxes for some SGA bobbles. Does anyone just happen to have some laying around the house? I need the 2001 Jenkins, the 2002 Sheets and AAron, and the 2003 Molitor. I have no idea why I didn't save them, but in my defense, the Aaron and Molitor bobbles were aquired by trade with no box included. I know it is a longshot, but I thought I'd ask just the same. Thanks for your time!
  13. thanks for the head's up, but I don't live in the Milwaukee area...
  14. You got a 2003 Hammonds or 2006 yount in a 70's jersey? if so, I'm looking for them...
  15. Laugh out Loud! they have done several kiss series', and you guessed it, I have them all, EVERY one of them!
  16. well, if you happen to find one in the future , please keep me in mind. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  17. In my quest to complete my collection, I actually think the 2003 Hammonds might be the trickiest to aquire... Even rare on ebay! Is it because so many people were frustrated with him they ditched thim in the garbage? The 2006 Yount 70's uniform has also eluded me, but from what I understand, all 3 younts were given out in equal amounts, is that true? This one can be found on ebay, but the prices tend to go too high, or the sellers have a ridiculous "buy it now" price... There is a guy on ebay that has had 7 of them for $29.99 plus another 9.95 shipping for several months, and they do not sell...I wonder why? Are there others that you have not been able to find? (excluding the alternate versions of each, just the commons)
  18. I might have an extra JJ Hardy to trade as well, but won't know for sure until tomorrow night...
  19. lol Just a note on McFarlane figures. My son has the rookie Ichiro (his favorite player NOT in a Brewer uniform...), and in the process of moving 3 years ago, his bat was lost. I emailed McFarlane and asked if I could purchase a new bat if they even offered replacement parts. 2 weeks later, I got a bat delivered in the mail, free of charge! Now THAT is classy!
  20. that is cool... there is no way that the guys who do these make any money when it comes to the time they put into these things... On another note, Yount deserves his own real McFarlane imo... Maybe in a future HOF series perhaps?
  21. well, after doing a little research, it seems they only made this poster for 2 seperate years... 1975 and 1977... Can anyone refute this?
  22. rydogg, how do you have 2 pics in your avatar?
