  1. Ben Maller from Fox Sports Radio has a rumor site. NBA page: http://benmaller.com/nba/
  2. I went today, hoping it wouldn't be very busy, but, there were a lot of people there. Kinda surprised for it being a holiday, but, the crowd didn't look like the type that was up all last night either. By far my favorite piece was a variation of this: http://www.berkshirefinearts.com/uploadedImages/articles/294_War-and-Discontent-a709499.jpg I didn't realize how heavily Warhol worked with silk screening which makes me like him a little more. The audio tour was pretty good, it enhanced a few pieces, especially the "piss paintings" AKA the Oxidation Paintings Infinity room was cool, I want a room in my house to be like that someday, haha.
  3. Has anyone gone to see this? I plan on making it out there in the next day or too. A major interest in the art itself, and also as a "thank you" to Mark Attanasio who, I believe, paid quite a bit of the price to make it happen. We should all go and let Mark know we like it when he spends a lot of money to bring Milwaukee nice things.
  4. If you are a music fan, or, just like a crazy life story, read Scar Tissue Anthony Kiedis's life story. That guy should be dead 6 different ways and Cher was his baby sitter growing up. Also, Killing Bono is the story of a man who wants to be a famous musician but fails as he has to watch his close friend Bono live out the life he wants.
  5. I would have totally jumped on that sampler pack if I had gotten around to this a week ago. Ended up at Tobacco Outlet in New Berlin (i think). Got a small but nice humidor and 5 cigars for under $50. Pretty happy, should be a good XMAS present if the guy isn't already reading this.
  6. I hope to be reading Boys Will Be Boys in the next few days I have been reading, in small incriments, The Book of Classic American Whiskeys and Conversations With Tom Petty (both pretty easy to read small portions at a time) Last few books I read were Killing Bono (fantastic) and Scar Tissue (also fantastic)
  7. Looking to get someone a humidor for christmas, just wondering where the best selection is, and, if I can get a decent one for around $40-$50. Are they even worth it at that price? Or do you not want to buy a cheap one? I usually just buy right before I smoke. Is there a specific smoke shop with some sort of gift pack/sampler thing? Also, who smokes what? Etc etc. I enjoy Drew Estates, specifcally their Tabak line.
  8. The title says most of it, but I can't wait to watch this, and hope it doesn't get postponed or something. Other stuff: UW-Whitewater vs. Mount Union for the 5th year in a row, Mount Union has only won 3 of the last 4 Salem forecast: HERE More Stagg Bowl Info: HERE
  9. yo, right here! PM sent
  10. I remember in my childhood having to rub a nickle on all the metal elements of the track to bring it back after 2 years of storage.
  11. Has everything gone right? Have they arrived?
  12. Oh man, ecseller has a pretty sweet Rick Vaughn jersey
  13. I know I have heard this, but can't find it anywhere. Boston has the most April weather delays and postponements, even when Minneapolis last had an outdoor stadium.
  14. I haven't been, but, Jameson Distillery and Guinness Brewery
  15. I could be in, it looks like it will be a while before it happens, I just want to get my hands on my jersey supply order before I decide what to do.
  16. The Krylon stuff sounds pretty good, might be exactly what I need. Is there a strong odor? We have a 60" lamination machine as well, but it takes forever to warm up, warps smaller jobs, and its cumbersome to cut 5.5x8.5 slices out of. I like the sleeve idea, but, we don't have control of where they are mounted, and would have to get the retailer on board, which is unlikely to happen. Better to just give them a final product. Thanks for all the help.
  17. Yeah, just kinda what people think or expect out of any given position regardless of the team/situation. And yeah, I way over did what a 5 pitcher should get you.
  18. Not really looking for stats, just what people think Like, "All you want out of your 5 pitcher is 12-13 wins and to eat innings" or "all you need is a catcher who can call a game and bats at least .250"
  19. One time use, they are price signs for coolers that get tossed when the sale is over. For the record, they shouldn't get wet where they are, but somehow Pick N Save thinks they will.
  20. I hope I can explain this. You always hear people say "well, all you really need out of your (enter position here) is (enter stats here) and anything else is a bonus." So, what is the accepted, or you thoughts on what each standard non-superstar player should get you at each position? What would the "standard" team be?
  21. At one of my jobs, every week or so there is a need to laminate about 80-120 5.5x8.5 pieces of paper. This can be time consuming using a sheet by sheet laminater. The only real need is that these pieces of paper don't bleed ink if they get wet or more likely, damp. So, the question is if their is a better way to do this? Something you can spray on top of the paper? A different (non-expensive) kind of paper? Open to all thoughts.
  22. That's just one of 3 trucks that have to wired like that, its pretty crazy. We guesstimated that around 2 - 2.5 miles of cables we ran for all the cameras and trucks. They didn't let me take pics of the Jaworski head assembling.
  23. I bet they are laughing at my Browns jersey purchase and shipping it last
  24. From about age 16-26 I was an absolute Dew Addict. Easily 6-8 cans a day while in college, usually 2 cans on the way to school at 7am. As of late I have almost 100% switched over to Coke, and, drink much much less soda. I really don't have a reason I can think of, but it's been almost a year now of being a Coke man. For the record, I loved the throwback Pepsi, getting real sugar Coke in Jamaica and getting it in bottles at El Rey too. I HATED the throwback Dew, it tasted flat and awful in my opinion. One of the coolest things ever was when I was 20, I was part of a Mountain Dew drinkers focus group at a market research firm in town. We all got paid $150 to sit around and talk about Mountain Dew for 2 hours. We talked about slogans we like, sports we would like to see it sponsor, our thoughts on Sprite, etc etc, and all the Dew we could drink during it. It was an awesome day.
