The page says its "worn on field to show support for the Welcome Back Veterans Foundation" Anyone know if this will be the Memorial Day hat? July 4th? some other day?
  2. The cat jumping out of the box was a few days ago, yesterday was the squirrel who couldn't quite jump up on a ledge Of course this article is "featured" the day he gets tagged for a few runs, damn you Yahoo! news curse
  3. i have 2006 #6, and almost every other one from 2006 It's not complete enough to keep together, so, they are all available except for Teddy Higuera #18 which I had autographed at the game
  4. I'm back, good times Didn't leave the resort once, and barely did anything there... it was great! We did end up tipping the "red hats" at the airport (who didn't give you a choice, literally), the drivers to and from the airport, a few bartenders, and the maids. We found out that by law beaches are public land in Jamaica and thats why "farmers" can roam the coast and sell their shells, necklaces, hashish, marijuana, and cocaine. Drugs are illegal there, but that is the running joke. I am now an international Beer Slam grand champion, you can't beat a Wisconsin boy. Both Beaches in Negril and Sandals in Montego Bay were nice. Lots and lots of food options, each resort had the buffet and 4-6 other sit down specialty restaurants. The food varied from ok to excelent. I didn't have a decent piece of cheese the entire trip though, and the milk was either all goats milk, or had been condenced, or something. At the end of the day, it would be hard to chose this trip or take all the money we spent on the trip and REALLY live it up in Vegas for 3 or 4 days. Outside of the beach, Vegas would probobly get the edge. I will post a few choice pictures when I get them uploaded, I won't bog you all down with tons of pics, just a few really interesting ones, and a few explaining why Air Jamaica sucks.
  5. Win some games while I'm gone
  6. Staying at Beaches in Negril for ceremony and family time, moving to Sandals in Montego Bay for the rest of the trip.1)Looked into this, maybe if the misses wants to, I wasn't thrilled by the whole "climbing" aspect of it. Based on youtube videos of what you do there 2) Is the closer to Negril or Montego Bay? Easy thing to get accomplished? 3) The reef sounds cool 4) Pineapple is far too acidic for to enjoy, I cant even have OJ, damn you acid reflux 5) Didn't plan on it 6) Is this worth a trip off the resort for? 7) I plan on having quite a few 8) I'm pretty sure I have had Ting somewhere in my life, and I remember liking it I am not a cigar person, but, I might have to try a Cuban. I know it's all hype, but, you know, its just something you should do. A cigar guy told me to look for the Havana's with the black label, over Cohibas I don't plan on "partying" there, which is "illegal" (woefully unenforced), but, if i did, when you own your own company, you don't have to take any drug tests, haha. As far as I'm concerned, I am already married. Great girl, met on opening day 2005, engaged at first Brewer playoff last year. My wife to be is a lurker here, I am sure she will read this. More questions: Is there a Red Stripe tour? What can I expect to pay for outside of the "all inclusivness" of Sandals/Beaches?
  7. It was smart to leave, and come back, but, for legal purposes, you can photograph anything in the public eye from public ground (as far as I know from working in news)
  8. 60th and Beloit Used Cars 68th and Bluemound AFL CIO Sing Picture doesn't look that good, but its old and metal, i think its cool
  9. Tell me everything about marriage, Jamaica, and relaxing.
  10. Hey all, this is the new shirt, it will be online for sale tomorrow at some time. Still working on a Coffey, Macha, and another Yovani shirt. Thanks for all your support and business! http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/a92151938a286baabafd6df5eb21e1ecea87332.jpg
  11. I loved Goal Line Blitz! I could never hook on with a human owned team though and I lost interest. I will check this out.
  12. How much love do you use in your printing? Hehe. The '08 Tararrel shirt is still my fave.
  13. We are working on a Coffey shirt, we have a lot of ideas we are trying to boil down. The skyline shirt is a big hit with lots of people, hope to add it in new colors soon.
  14. Maybe I am up to late to figure this out, on the Brewers site Rivera is currently listed as having .333 BA .308 OBP .500 SLG How can his OBP be lower than his BA? It seems it has something to do with what happened in the April 17th loss to the Mets. *edit* OBP is determined completely from plate appearances? Any specials rules for OBP? like walks and such not hurting your BA? A sac fly hurts OBP?
  15. I wanted to bring this up at a practice, but circumstances keep preventing that. If we are doing jersey (are we? am I?), I need to know really really soon to get them done in time. I boiled down the other thread into these two options. Please vote, and give me your name/number. I will post final prices tomorrow, but "A" will be about $22 and "B" will be about $42. http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/340255b9578912276f6a7eb170484ec391f154d.jpg http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/4241509d802a6aadaf05e60646644d3c1ea4358.jpg I vote for "A"
  16. I am surprised at how many people actually liked the light show on Freemont street. What I saw was a 5 min ad for LG and was incredibly cheesy. I didn't find anything stunning about the graphics either, it was just like being close to a scoreboard. I was sober when I saw it though, so, maybe that has a part in it.
  17. http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/d411589b8e2c6ca73b118895e9674a9e62547d2.jpg I can send the high-rez Photoshop or tiff file if you want it
  18. how can you be jealous of photoshop skills when you have skills like that?
  19. I will honestly advise you from even stepping foot in downtown Las Vegas. Unless you want to do one of the following: Get offered drugs on the street in plain view, use slot machines that still spit out coins, have bums open your cab's door when you pull up and ask for a tip, or see a canopy light show that is laughably bad by today's special effects standard and it really just a commercial for something. I did not get to downtown untill my 5th trip, and I could have gone another 5 without missing a thing. If you DO go downtown, DO NOT go anywhere thats not under the Fremont canopy area, nothing good happens. Mystere is fantastic, I can't speak highly enough about it. You will never feel more fat and out of shape then after watching this show. The piano bar at the Imperial Palace is better than the New York, NY one, and the Carnival Court is right there too. The Carousel bar is in the Carnival Court, between Harrah's and the Imperial Palace. Music Fan? The hard rock is a very cool place, any music fan should go. Gear Head? you should see the Car Museum/show room at Imperial Palace Sandwich Connoisseur?: Wichcraft at the MGM Grand, can't say enough about how awesome the meatloaf sandwhich was Sports Gambler?: Treasure Isaland has my favorite sports book Check out www.CheapoVegas.com too, just about the best and most honest Vegas site.
  20. Non-chain: http://www.milwaukeesbestburgers.com/ The link says it all, hand down Sobelman's, blows everything else I have ever had out of the water (I'm looking at you Kopp's) Best fast food $1 burger: Wendy's Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger Best fast food "special" burger: Angry Whopper Best fast food everyday burger: Whopper Chain: I really like the Royal at Red Robin Other notes: I will never eat White Castle again for the remainder of my life. I was very under-whelmed with Sonic in KC, but need to give the one here a chance.
  21. I like it the way it is, or, tolerate it I guess. I don't even bother to stand up for it anymore. I know the race had starting taking too long, and that might be a reason for less shinanigins now. However, Sundays with the mini-sausages are the best, you are getting 110% from those kids, I really like those races.
  22. I didn't even realize it was Memorial Day, I think I can round up more people then. I will post here when I confirm at least myself is going.
  23. http://images.yuku.com/image/jpeg/83925e8959803202690a75e55ddf4b9d5156af5.jpg I can do this "good" if you like it, I kinda just whipped it together. It's still rough obviously.
  24. Ah, I misread your post before I typed this all out, I thought you were renting a car. I am going to post it anyway, since everyone should do it at least one Saturday this year. As for being close to the stadium, I would recommend Kelly's Bleachers before the game, but not after. It turns into more a dance club type place with a cover later on Saturdays. Give yourself plenty of time inside the stadium at least one of the days, there is a lot to see. Sobelmen's would be a short cab ride, and I think is worth it. Where are you staying? That might help with some recommendations. Saturday (if you had a car): 2:00pm Go to Sobelmen's at 1900 W. St. Paul Ave, and have Milwaukee's (and maybe the worlds) best burger. LINK 3:30pm Take the tour at Great Lakes Distillery at 616 W. Virginia St. Wisconsin's first distillery since prohibition LINK 4:00 or 4:15pm Walk across the street to The Iron Horse Hotel and get your free Great Lakes Distillery samples and check out what could be the coolest/best hotel in the city. LINK 4:45pm Take canal street to Miller Park and check out the stadium 6:05pm Watch the Brewers beat Arizona 7-3 lead by JJ Hardy's 3 for 4 night with 2 HR and 4RBI 9:05pm Bluemound Road Pub Crawl
  25. Wow, a Monday 1:05 start, how odd. I am 90% on this, always wanted to sit there. Someone get Branyan (or Dunn) in town so we can catch a ball!
