    Al Michaels and Bob Costas will call the Mets/Giants game on 7/8 for MLB Network. It's the first time the they have ever called an MLB game together, and it will be first time Michaels calls an MLB game since 1995. Should be pretty cool, and since it's a West Coast start, it won't interfere too much with the Brewer game that night, so we'll be able to watch both. http://mlb.mlb.com/news/a...4&vkey=&c_id=mlb

    I don't know if anyone has seen the commercial with David Ortiz walking the streets of New York asking Yankee fans for hugs. Some flat out refuse and some give in and do it. When I first saw the commercial, I thought the ones that refused were just being rude and stupid. It's Big Papi! How can you not hug him? But then I was thinking, if that was me and it was Pujols, I don't think I could do it. So if Pujols was walking down the streets of Milwaukee and saw you wearing Brewer gear and asked for a hug, would you do it?

    One other thing I haven't seen mentioned, the Red Sox store was selling really cool retro style shirts that said Fenway Park Interleague, Boston vs. Milwaukee, featuring the Barrelman logo and this old school Red Sox logo below, I had to get one, going to wear it to the game tomorrow. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/5/50/ALE-BOS-Logo-Old09.png/150px-ALE-BOS-Logo-Old09.png

    Was at all three games and had a blast, even though we only won one game. All of the Boston fans were great. Walking back to the hotel after Friday night's game we realized we were behind Doug Melvin and Gord Ash. Unfortunately they were at the head of the pack, and we were at the back, so we never were able to catch up to them. Still, it was kind of funny to realize the bigwigs were doing the 20-25 minute walk from the park the rest of us were. We actually did a travel package with the Red Sox, so Saturday afternoon we were able to tour the park, go down onto the field and inside the Green Monster, meet Dustin Pedroia, try on the World Series rings, and sit and watch the Red Sox take BP in an otherwise empty park. It was an amazing experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone interested in visiting Fenway.

    Plus his insistence on batting McGehee fifth even though he hasn't had an extra base hit since the Reagan administration. Would have been nice to have had Hart up in the ninth.

    An offense with Kotsay, Yuni, and Nieves starting. If Morgan, Lucroy and Counsell are starting it might have been different. Yeah, I know Wolf is forcing us to watch that useless load Nieves every five days, but days Wolf starts should mean Counsell at short and Morgan in center.

    Crap. I hated them. Don't look good at all with the white pants.I loved them, to the point I would consider buying a mustard jersey. Most everyone in the game thread, like you, said they didn't like them with the white pants. Maybe a compromise is to change the road alternates from blue to mustard so they'll only wear them with gray pants?

    As a fan of the ridiculous and absurd, I loved it. For one game, it was cool and different. Plus it was the return of the Barrelman as the Brewers logo.
