Now here's a chance for Roenicke to double switch. Put Plush in CF and the pitcher in the 2 spot. I'd much rather have Plush for defense the last three innings. Let's if Ron can figure that out. -
Yeah, to anybody watching on MLB Network, are they using the Brewers or Cardinals feed? If it's the Brewers, I'm sure they're regretting it after that half inning.

It would also mean we get to face the Braves. Not that that's any easy feat, but I'd rather face them instead of the pitching staffs of the Phillies or Giants.

What a joke. First, calling for the hit and run on a 3-1 count and Kotsay at the plate. Then Kotsay can't make contact leaving Hart, who suddenly runs like my grandma, a dead duck at second. Then Kotsay swings and misses a ball four. Great job with this lineup and that stupid call Ron.

Roenicke ought to be fired for that lineup. With Hairston on the roster there should be no reason to ever start Kotsay or Counsell.

Lucroy went 3-4 tonight and just had a day off yesterday. Not sure why you would want to sit him tomorrow.

Really like this move, can play anywhere in the IF or OF and comes with a .342 OBP. Gives Roenicke a lot of flexibility in filling out the lineup card.

I just tweeted the writers of those sbnation articles, and one of them replied right away saying he just watched a different angle and will change the article. Maybe the SF feed didn't show it as clearly as FS Wisconsin? -
I'd agree with PH for Narv if his pitch count were higher, but the way he has been pitching and at only 74 pitches through 6, I would have left him in too.

FOX has apparently bought into them, the 8/13 game has been moved to 3:10 as FOX picked it up. This has to be the first ever Brewers/Pirates game nationally televised.

It's only the Friday games they are considering moving to 7:40. I'm guessing it's a way to attract more people from the Madison/Green Bay/Fox Valley areas who wouldn't normally go to a weeknight game by giving them more time after work to get to the ballpark. Plus, being a Friday night with no work the next morning, they can stay later, so the game finishing at 11 wouldn't be a problem. Not sure why they are considering moving Sunday start times, as during the summer those are almost always sellouts, and what's the difference between 1:10 and 1:40? I did take the survey last week and voted no to both changes.
