  1. Heck, we had a big snowstorm at the end of April last year. I remember it because the storm knocked my power out and I sat in a dark house with a blizzard outside listening to the Brewer game on a weather radio, it was the game in Philly where the Brewers knocked Halladay around.
  2. No, we get the Angels announcers. FS West is producing and airing the game, FS Wisconsin is just simulcasting it.
  3. First two outs of the second inning would have been back-to-back base hits with Yuni at SS and Gonzalez made both plays look easy.
  4. The following spring training games will be televised: Monday, March 5, 8:35 CT, @ Giants, MLB Network Tuesday, March 6, 2:05 CT, vs. A's, FSN, MLB Network (MLBN will be tape delay) Saturday, March 10, 2:05 CT, vs. Cubs, WGN Saturday, March 17, 3:05 CT, @ Angels, FSN, MLB Network Tuesday, March 20, 3:05 CT, @ Dodgers, FSN, MLB Network Friday, March 30, 3:05 CT, @ Dodgers, FSN, MLB Network (MLBN will be tape delay) Saturday, March 31, 2:05 CT, @ Padres, FSN Wednesday, April 4, 2:40 CT, @ Diamondbacks, FSN, MLB Network (MLBN will be tape delay)
  5. After sitting in the virtual waiting room for a half hour, I managed to get two fairly decent seats for Friday night. I'm looking forward to it, it will be my first visit to the new stadium after going to a number of Brewer games at the Metrodome.
  6. So what are they going to do for all those games in April that conflict with Bucks games? That's where shifting to WMLW screwed those of us not in Milwaukee, so will they actually be bumping the Bucks?
  7. Wow was that battle royal an absolute train wreck. Thanks to the Big Show's screw up, Barrett breaks his arm and Ziggler is almost decapitated, then Kofi slips and takes a nasty spill, and Santino gets eliminated and almost lands right on Barrett's broken arm. You can count Barrett out of WM for sure. Wonder what they do with Shaq now, as it looked like they were building towards a Cody/Barrett vs. Show/Shaq tag.
  8. Wow, that's an amazing collection! Mine's nowhere near as extensive as yours, but I thought I'd share: http://i1159.photobucket.com/albums/p637/Vgmastr/bobbles.jpg I've never gone out of my way to collect bobbleheads. I've had 9-packs for the last few years, so if I had tickets to a game where there was a giveaway, great, but I never went to a game specifically for a bobblehead. I do have the Uecker and Milwaukee Brave nesting dolls, as well as three big head bobbles. The Prince one I received as a birthday gift a few years ago, and the Hart and Hoffman ones I picked up at the annual Clubhouse Sale for super cheap. You can barely see it since it's the same color as the bookcase, but behind Polish's shoulder is a Bert Blyleven statue that I got as a giveaway in Minnesota for a Brewers/Twins game. A few other non-bobblehead items in my collection: http://i1159.photobucket.com/albums/p637/Vgmastr/brewers1.jpg I received a hand painted Miller Park baseball from my sister this past Christmas that she got directly from the artist. I also have a cup of Fenway Park dirt that I got when I went to the Brewers/Red Sox series this past season. http://i1159.photobucket.com/albums/p637/Vgmastr/brewers2.jpg This is a Blatz Beer statue promoting the Milwaukee Braves on TV. My grandfather apparently found this in someone's trash back in the '60s and my dad gave it to me when he passed away a few years ago. The only thing is there is another flag that is missing, so I'm sure that takes the value down a bit, but I'll never get rid of it so it doesn't much matter to me.
  9. This is the first year we haven't done the 9-pack, now 10-pack, so I signed up for the Opening Day/Marquee/Gold ticket lottery. I received an e-mail saying I was selected to buy Marquee and Gold games before the general public, so does this mean I wasn't selected for Opening Day tickets? Did anyone receive an e-mail saying they were selected for Opening Day?
  10. Based on the promo schedule, looks like only the four players will have alternates. Lucroy, Gallardo and Ramirez will have retro pinstripe uniforms. Morgan's alternates will be posed giving the "T" sign, while the regulars will be in a batting stance.
  11. Attanasio issues a statement saying Braun won't be at On Deck due to the sensitive situation: http://brewers.mlblogs.co...al-owner-mark-attanasio/
  12. Does no one remember Rikishi? He was massively over because he was a dancing fat man. Crowd was quiet because they were trying to figure out what they were seeing. I bet you there are tons of Funkasaurus signs in the crowd this week on Raw. This gimmick will get over huge.
  13. I don't know, I could see some arguments for Schroeder. Not for his playing days, but the guy has been doing Brewers TV for 17 years now, I think that accounts for something. He's been through all of the lean years, just like us, and is obviously a fan. Him screaming "YES!" repeatedly after the final out in 2008 is one of my favorite memories from that season. Will he ever be as beloved as Uke? No, but if sticks around for another decade or so there's going to be a whole generation of Brewer fans who only know Brewers baseball with Schroeder on TV.
  14. That was awesome. Jericho proved why he is the master. He had the crowd in the palm of his hand and managed to make a major babyface return and turn heel in five minutes without saying a word. Just brilliant.
  15. Just looking at the Brewers schedule, and it shows six FOX games for the Crew next season. I'm a little surprised it's so many with Prince leaving, but I guess getting to the NLCS gets you a little more national attention. The games currently scheduled for FOX: 4/7 vs. Cardinals 4/28 at Cardinals 5/5 at Giants 5/12 vs. Cubs 6/23 at White Sox 6/30 vs. D-Backs
  16. So FSN is going to televising every single Bucks game, which means most April Brewer games will be bumped to WMLW and won't be televised at all outside of Milwaukee. God, I hate the NBA.
  17. This reminded of something I forgot, there was a retro Phillies Chase Utley jersey from last season's 1970s weekend. Going through the nameplates is always my favorite part of the sale, but I've never sprung for one until this year. My dad loved Angel Echevarria solely because he loved saying his name, so when I saw the $1 Echevarria nameplate I had to grab it. There was a t-shirt I really, really wanted, but they only had S. It was a '47 brand shirt, which I love, and it was dark green and had knit letters spelling Brewers on the front in the '90s German uniform font. It just looked really cool, and you never see any '90s retro merchandise. I had never seen it before, because if I had, I probably would have paid full price for it. I wear M, and might have been able to fit in it, but those shirts tend to run small and for $20 didn't want to chance it.
  18. The Braun pennants were MVP pennants and were $10.
  19. Playoff t-shirts were $15, sweatshirts were $40, hats were $10. I got a polo for $30, a really nice button down t-shirt/jersey for $20, Down on the Valley for $5, a yearbook for $1, and an Angel Echevarria spring training nameplate for $1. One interesting thing I found was a nameplate for Chris Kottaras. Seems like whoever was in charge of printing out nameplates gave poor George the wrong first name. The cheapest game used jersey I found was for $50 with the name Bray on the back. Now, I consider myself pretty knowledgeable about the Brewers, but I had no recollection of anyone named Bray. Looking up the name now, it was Steve Bray, a rule 5 selection in 2006.
  20. Of Brewer players all time, who are first and last alphabetically? Hank Aaron and Eddie Zosky
  21. If your feed is out, check the SD feed. My TBS-HD is out, but I still get the SD channel. Not as good, but I can still see the game.
  22. They tried that one two years ago.
  23. That's the thing that scares me the most with this matchup. I definitely think we have a better shot of beating the Cardinals than the Phillies, especially with home field. But losing to the Cardinals would hurt much, much more than losing to the Phillies.
