  1. For crying out loud Looper, you have a 7 run lead and you walk Fontenot? Throw strikes!
  2. Ugh, Looper. You just know this game is going to end up being close.
  3. In their first two ABs, McGehee and Cameron have combined for a cycle, kinda funny.
  4. I don't really think sending Looper was as bad as everyone says. I probably wouldn't have done it, but they needed to make a perfect throw to get him, and that's what they did. Church threw a rocket to the catcher and they just barely got him. If the ball one hops or is off line even a bit, the run scores. It's a decent gamble to take.
  5. We're not really that bad in home day game this year. The Brewers were 6-2 in home day games in April and May then lost all five home day games in June. I chalk it up more to the Brewers just having a bad June then all of a sudden it's impossible for them to play in a day game at home.
  6. So the Brewers have a ton of national TV games coming up in the next couple of weeks, hopefully they can step it up and improve their 1-6 record in national TV games this season: 6/29 vs. Mets - ESPN 7/2 at Cubs - MLB Network 7/5 at Cubs - TBS 7/12 vs. Dodgers - TBS 7/16 at Reds - MLB Network
  7. If McGehee can keep this up, is ROY in a weak class this year out of the question?
  8. Three of our four runs tonight were driven in by Kendall and Looper, and the fourth run scored on an error. Crazy.
  9. Wow, did I see what I just saw? C'mon Trevor, we need a scoreless inning from you more than ever.
  10. This game and the final game against the White Sox, Hoffman faced the big lefties in the lineup and ended up giving up runs, no reason for Stetter not to be pitching in those situations.
  11. Once again Macha won't use Stetter in the 9th. Why not bring him in to face Martinez and Choo?
  12. With Hoffman likely unavailable, if Villy can get through the 8th, I wouldn't mind seeing Stetter get the 9th for Choo and Hafner.
  13. The July 5th game at the Cubs will also be on TBS. National TV loves the Brewers, too bad the Brewers don't like national TV.
  14. Is there a law that says Hoffman has to pitch a whole inning? Why not leave Stetter in to face Hafner?
  15. You knew he wouldn't be perfect all year, but I would have gone to Stetter against Pierzynski after Hoffman was noticeably struggling.
  16. It looks like Hart might be starting to get hot, I wouldn't mind moving him up to 2nd in the order and bumping Hardy down to 7th while JJ is struggling.
  17. This is gonna be a long afternoon if the hitters keep swinging at those breaking pitches.
  18. So, it's Mets/Yankees, the big Subway series. Mets have a 8-7 lead in the bottom of the 9th. There are two outs, runners on 1st and 2nd. K-Rod is pitching for the Mets and A-Rod is at the plate. A-Rod hits a pop up to shallow right field. Castillo eases back for the easy catch, and it clanks out of his glove. Both runners score and the Yankees win 9-8. I think Brewerfan would implode if that happened to the Brewers.
  19. McGehee's leading off, Hall's hitting 8th. No real complaints about the lineup, although I wouldn't mind seeing Gamel getting a shot to start against a lefty. 2B Casey McGehee SS JJ Hardy LF Ryan Braun 1B Prince Fielder CF Mike Cameron RF Corey Hart C Mike Rivera 3B Bill Hall RHP Dave Bush
  20. Brooks Hall, a RHP from T L Hanna HS in South Carolina is the Round 4 pick. Perfect Game USA Profile Article about a him pitching a perfect game this season.
  21. Why did we take Coffey out in the first place? He only threw 6 pitches, he could have come back out for the 8th.
  22. I'm a little confused by Macha there. I figured he was leaving Stetter in to keep Chipper batting from the right side, but now he lifts him before Chipper? Why leave him in to face one righty then? It worked out ok, but just a little strange.
