  1. Why do they do this to me? Now I'm going to have to stay up until who knows when I have to get up early tomorrow.
  2. Right now we're looking at pick #14 in next June's draft, I'm thinking we can make it into the top 10 by the end of the season. Hey, gotta make this last month interesting somehow.
  3. Who picks out the text questions to feature on air? "If the ball hits the foul pole, is it a home run?" Really? I guarantee you 99% of the people watching already know the answer. Feature questions that will actually be interesting to baseball fans. For that matter, who sends in a question like that? Just Google it, for crying out loud.
  4. What a weird inning, the Brewers load the bases on a K, HBP, and BB, and all three outs were bullets off the bat. The good news is Wandy looks hittable today.
  5. Kendall with a HR. I'm checking the forecast for hell right now and sure enough, 70% chance of snow.
  6. Man, Cat really misplayed that one, it was obviously going to bounce off the side wall and he was running towards the corner. If he charges it, Rodriguez either holds at third or gets thrown out.
  7. Tom Verducci on MLB Tonight said that he doesn't know what club claimed him, but that Rios didn't make it past the AL teams, so it was someone in the AL according to him.
  8. Someone tell BA that the ideal hit and run combo features someone at the plate that can actually get a hit.
  9. Our starting infield against righties should have Lopez, Counsell, and McGehee. Hardy can start for Counsell when we face a lefty, but at this point I see no value to starting him over McGehee.
  10. Wow, that was Manny's best inning all night. Amazing job tonight. He's at 96 pitches, do you give him a chance to go the distance?
  11. In the late '90s, I dreamt that the Brewers traded for Bernie Williams and started a marketing campaign featuring the three Bernies.
  12. I really wouldn't mind seeing McGehee at 3B and Counsell at SS on an everyday basis. JJ has been terrible all year and has shown no signs of improvement.
  13. It wasn't very classy of Prince to win the HR Derby in St. Louis.
  14. Berman's a joke. On every one of Albert's HR he was yelling and screaming about what a monster shot it was, and every single one barely made it out. Oh, and his third HR really wasn't, he shouldn't even be in the swing off.
  15. So you give the Dodgers a run in the top of the first, and refuse to take a run they're giving you in the bottom, nice work so far Cam.
  16. National TV today, so the Brewers have to play like little leaguers.
  17. Why? Because he couldn't shut out one of the best lineups in baseball? I don't get all the Burns hate, he's had four starts, and only one was bad.
  18. I have a strange question about last night's game. During Counsell's first inning AB he lined a foul ball into the seats down the first base line and knocked a beer vendor over who had his back to the field. Just wondering if this made the broadcast, as this happened right next to me.
  19. Wow Casey! How sweet must this be for him? Double away from the cycle.
