  1. OK Manny, your spot in the lineup is due up first in the 7th, can you give us a scoreless 6th?
  2. Cubs and Reds are tied at 3 in the bottom of the 10th. Game is on WGN if you want to watch it. I wouldn't mind seeing a nice 16 inning game between these two.
  3. This home plate umpire has been terrible all night. Now we're stuck with a Braun-Hart-Cat outfield for the 9th.
  4. There's no reason Hall should have been batting there. I understand not wanting to put Gamel in because of defense, but Counsell should have been pinch hitting.
  5. Wow, McClung paints the black on the outside corner on three straight pitches. Hope you got a couple more innings in you, Seth.
  6. Wow, Manny looked fantastic in the first. Hopefully he can keep that up, and the offense can cash in on some opportunities.
  7. Ugh, that should have been so much more. Hall swings at ball four, then Braun grounds out on the first pitch after Miller showed he couldn't find the strike zone.
  8. Yeah, nevermind. Really nice to get some runs off of Harang. It seems like he's always dominated us the past few years.
  9. I wouldn't mind seeing Gerut get a start in center tomorrow, Cam has looked terrible lately.
  10. My mistake, ESPN and Yahoo both had Coffey listed 6th and Hall listed 9th. Must have been an error somewhere, ESPN changed it. Very nice win tonight, especially with the pitching matchup heavily favoring the Reds, but Looper pitched fantastic, only made one mistake. Bush/Harang should be a good matchup, and Gallardo/Owings favors the Crew, so getting this one was nice.
  11. OK, so why not just swap Hall for Gamel straight up and bat Hall 6th? In the grand scheme of things, it really doesn't matter, but it was just an odd move.
  12. Is it me, or does Macha not quite understand the double switch? Why use it when the pitcher's spot was the last AB?
  13. McGehee, Braun, and Fielder, let's get a run, I don't want to have to face Pujols in the 11th.
  14. Hehe, yeah me too. She's something else back there.Yeah, Barbara Bush looks different tonight, that top really works on her.
  15. The second night in a row with a shaky first inning that could have been a lot worse. Hopefully the offense can get to Wandy.
  16. Bumping this because the game came out today. Anyone else pick it up? Let me say that if you loved the original game, you'll love this. Took me right back to my childhood.
  17. I don't think you could botch up a run down anymore then they just did.
  18. Wellemeyer just looked terrible walking the pitcher to lead off the inning, and of course Hall comes up and swings at the first pitch. Just terrible approaches the last two innings.
  19. What happened to the great approach our hitters had the first two innings? Wellemeyer had 63 pitches in two innings, keep working the count and get deep into that bullpen. A 6 pitch inning isn't going to do that.
  20. Good thing the Lost season finale is on tonight so I'll have something to watch.
  21. That's the second time today the Brewers have had a runner on 3rd with no outs and couldn't score him.
  22. Suppan's pitching batting practice. You know it's bad when Aaron freakin' Miles doubles.
  23. Ugh, what was Fischer thinking? Just a terrible decision to send him.
