    It doesn't appear Sheets is feeling the effects of the rain delay.

    Looks like Sheets is coming back out. I wonder if Zambrano will. It could actually help that the delay came during the bottom of the inning, as Zambrano's wait will be much longer than Sheets's.

    The system currently over Chicago isn't the problem. That should pass or be close to passing by 1:20. What is the problem is the system currently over Missouri. Right now it's heading towards Chicago, and if it stays on its current path, there's probably no game.

    Parra is scheduled to pitch Saturday, and Sheets is scheduled to pitch Sunday no matter what. They already said they weren't going to skip anyone and go with a 5-man rotation right away.

    There's another batch of heavy storms in Missouri right now, heading straight for Chicago. There's going to be a window to play, but a small one. It doesn't look good.

    The forecast has changed totally, now they're saying it won't start storming until the late afternoon. Hopefully they can get the game in. Chicago forecast

    FSN released the HD schedule on their myspace page today. 65 HD games total, and a surprising number of away games in HD. Brewers HD Schedule

    They toss one cigarette overboard to make the boat a cigarette lighter. It's a play on words.

    They also have a picture of the magnetic schedule, and Prince is this year's poster boy. Hopefully he can break the curse.

    If someone goes to 10 games a year, they should just get a 9-Pack. The price for parking hasn't gone up for that. We paid $100 for preferred parking last year, and that's what we're paying this year. That comes out to $10 a game, and that includes opening day.

    I would say Milwaukee/Boston has a pretty good chance of being the TBS game that Sunday. It's too bad that the only series with the Cubs this year that's on a weekend is the final series of the season. I would think if there were a couple weekend series with Chicago, one of them would have made their way to Sunday night.

    If the Indians end up losing, that third base coach might have just cost himself his job with that call. What was he thinking?

    Man, the Indians are lucky it's only 3-1. The Sox have had loads of runners, but keep hitting into DPs.

    Ugh, that would be terrible. Then again, opening the season at Wrigley provides a silver lining if the Cubs should somehow actually win it all, as the Sunday night opener next year being Brewers/Cubs would be pretty cool.

    From Adam McCalvy's notes column: The Brewers make their first appearance at Fenway since they left the AL. Also, it will be nice to see Overbay back in Miller Park for a series.

    The guy I'm most angry with is Miller. The pitcher almost threw a wild pitch on an IBB, then he misses badly on the first three pitches to Miller. If he's going to swing at pitch before he makes the pitcher throw two strikes, he better darn well make sure he gets a hit. If he had lined out, I wouldn't be as angry, but he popped up in the infield. Just an absolutely pathetic at bat.

    Bill S. did a Brewers/Cardinals game on FOX a few years ago. It was the last weekend of the season in '02.

    Brian Anderson's getting called up to the big show! According to the listings on the FOX website, he'll be doing the Mets/Marlins game with Tim McCarver tomorrow. Why they wouldn't have him do the Brewers/Braves game, I don't know, but congrats to BA, he's done great this year. Hopefully having to do a game with McCarver doesn't dumb him down too much.
