  1. He just doesn't look himself. I'm not concerned at all that he is struggling against Zambrano
  2. Prince looks like he has no interest in being out there today. Lets hope its ill effects from the flu and not the bad atiitude he may be sporting this year
  3. I'd be lying if I said I'm not nervous about Sheets going back out there. Please don't get hurt
  4. Its not raining as of right now. It looks like we need some baseball to talk about rather than discussing the finer (or not so fine) points of Chicago
  5. Sure am glad this game wasnt' scheduled at MP!
  6. Thanks andthat and jazzytrav. Anyone else think Kendall is going to get back to his old self and hit around .290 this year with a decent OBP?
  7. I'm watching FSN (its actually on here in Eau Claire) and I haven't seen any radar on Ben yet. Has anyone heard any readings on his fastball yet today? Just curious what his velocity is here early. Way to get out of that Benny!
  8. Does anyone have link or a pic of the aforementioned Trenni. I just got home and haven't had the chance to see her yet.
  9. I agree that Zambrano looks good so far, but we all know how quickly that can change. I hope Ned sends everyone with any speed that gets on base. Several stolen bases are just one of many things that could get into that big empty head of his and get him rattled
  10. I think Ramirez just didn't have a grip on the ball TGJ hit. The IF shouldn't be wet - the tarp was on and it hasn't rained since
  11. Amen to that. I couldn't believe it when I saw that!
  12. I'm right along with everyone else in looking for instant gratification and getting this game in today, but if they don't at least it isn't supposed to rain for the next three days in Chi-Town
  13. Brewers line: +126, +1.5 (-170) and the o/u is 10
  14. Chicago - The weather people and the radars don't seem too optimisitic, but the teams are hoping that the threat of rain and pushing opening day back until tomorrow does not happen. Both clubs are on the field warming up, but thick fog hangs over the stadium and surrounding buildings, and more rain is expected shortly. Tomorrow is an open date, so if the game is bagged because of rain, the first game of the season would be moved to Tuesday, with games 3 and 4 hopefully being played as scheduled on Wednesday and Thursday. Assuming the weather cooperates, here are today's starting lineups. Manager Ned Yost decided to keep Tony Gwynn Jr. in the No. 2 slot and Bill Hall at No. 5. BREWERS 2B Rickie Weeks CF Tony Gwynn 1B Prince Fielder LF Ryan Braun 3B Bill Hall RF Corey Hart SS JJ Hardy RHP Ben Sheets C Jason Kendall CUBS SS Ryan Theriot LF Alfonso Soriano 1B Derrek Lee 3B Aramis Ramirez RF Kosuke Fukudome 2B Mark DeRosa C Geovany Soto RHP Carlos Zambrano
  15. Its snowing here in Eau Claire. I think it is beyond ridiculous to schedule this series in Chicago when we have to go there again at the end of the month.
  16. Maybe I'm just being naive, but I still think we will get it on ESPN 2. Its an away game and I get the Minnesota FSN feed right now so I don't see why it would be blacked out here.
  17. Really? Maybe this is a stupid question, but why? I set my DVR to record the game on the deuce because its in HD and I live in Eau Claire and have no faith the it will be on FSN here.
  18. ESPN 2 is going to be blacked out??
