    Any are as good or better than a tiring Estrada. To be fair, he was at 59 pitches and had shown no signs of tiring at that point.

    According to McCarver it was a hanger. What a buffoon. It was a tough pitch. I thought they might try to kind of pitch around Molina there.

    Marco just continues to impress. Man I enjoy watching him pitch. He'll even pitch inside! 59 pitches thru 5. And that's with the brutal E-3

    My thoughts exactly while watching last night. Those guys could not look more comfortable at the plate. Especially Jay and Holiday, who were diving across the plate after fastballs Andre Dawson-style. Back them up!

    I should probably stop watching...I'm starting to get really negative and bitter, and that's not typically me. Maybe turning off the game will spawn a miracle comeback.

    It's looked flat pretty much all season so far. Still would like to know how that 2-2 pitch to Holiday was a ball

    Right now, Hardy is hitting .178 with an ops of .576. Lots of bad early lines out there. Look at Pujols...just snapped an 0-21 streak with a weak grounder he guided through the right side to beat the shift. Still homerless. Sometimes managers just need to ride it out with these guys. And no, I am not comparing Pujols to McGehee. Or Hardy. Or anyone else, for that matter. Just thought I would mention it.

    I would like to see if he has the ability to make solid contact more consistently if he did get more playing time. Has only hit a few balls hard so far. Definitely works the count. Haven't seen enough of him defensively to form a full opinion yet.

    Totally agree on Juan Perez, monty. I think he definitely has a shot to help out. They really liked what they saw from in ST before the collapsed lung. I'm also about at the end of my rope with Parra. When he came in on Tuesday night and threw gas on the fire, he looked like he couldn't have cared less.
