  1. Yeah, I thought he was clearly out at 2nd too. Lucroy struggling here.
  2. Because Weeks clearly couldn't score on a hit from 2nd with 2 outs.
  3. That was a tremendous call at home. He beat it and replay shows it.
  4. Apparently RR forgot about a possible sweep today with this lineup.
  5. Embarrassing. Here I thought someone from the Scioscia tree was suppose to be tactical and shrewd. I've seen NONE of that in Roenicke. Scioscia is a buffoon and has been since day 1, so I don't know why you'd expect otherwise. His teams give away outs like it's going outta style. I'd take a buffoon like him if it meant a .549 winning percentage. I'm not a fan of sacrificing all the time like RR does, but he's done some things that have worked.

  7. That's about the only way Yuni's OBP is going to go up. Oh, and I'm now convinced that McGehee is slower than Prince. I thought they might be close, but that's not the case anymore.
  8. I thought the DP call was so close it could have gone either way. Hart at home though? He was out.
  9. You could see Pitt had no chance in the ninth when Axford was able to drop that breaking ball for a strike. Got to keep piling up wins!
  10. Loe is great when you are looking for a ground ball double play or trying to keep the ball in the park but he's not going to be good if you pitch him every single day for the entire 8th inning But he hasn't even been effective lately. He's leaving all of his pitches up and that spells a lot of trouble for him.
  11. Loe should have lost his 8th inning spot already. With the way Hawkins is pitching, he should probably get that 8th inning slot.
  12. I guess Lucroy thought Hart would actually get in a pickle instead of just sliding into the defender, but still....
  13. I was just happy to get a sac fly out of Gomez. Then add Berkman's tremendous defense and we got some insurance. That's really the only spot where i like Betancourt swinging at the first pitch. Oh, and LOL at Gomez's sac fly trot! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
