  1. Woo will not get through 4 at this rate....command off and ump not giving him strikes when he is on the margins
  2. Brewers using their bottom 3 arms on the roster so far, Cubs going to likely empty their kep arms to try and hold onto a win....sets up well for game tonight. No matter the outcome in this game
  3. Hit that ball hard - baseball happens. The bad flip defensively is the difference in the game now, though
  4. Not as impressive as you think - he hit it hard but left center is still a short porch at Wrigley when the ball doesnt get up over the bleachers. Wind didnt have much chance to impact that HR.
  5. Kept them in the game - would be awesome to get one more inning out of Patrick....also would be good to keep chipping at this lead and get it into the territory of the Cubs needing to use primary relievers to try and win this game.
  6. This game should get postponed and have a dh rescheduled later in the series Should have been made official hours ago I see they made it official just now
  7. Having a lineup full of speed makes routine chances difficult - that itself leads to more errors I'm sure teams commit more errors against the Brewers than most others - its a hidden metric that putting the ball in play can lead to more runs than striking out when trying to hit everything out of the park.
  8. I was trying to think of a team in the regular season this Brewers team reminds me of, and I think I have it based on the improbable run they are currently on - the 2002 A's team that won 20 straight and inspired the Moneyball book /movie. Different style of play, but feels like the Brewers have found a way to take advantage of a young defense/speed/pitching and contact-heavy team that other small-mid market teams havent figured out to win alot of games.
  9. I think you let him swing here, actually because this guy is throwing gas Terrible sac bunting attempts here
