I think DVC being out has really been overlooked the entire playoffs. I know he's kind of not really a big scoring threat and he's not one of our big three, but he is a starter and he does a lot of things and he does them pretty well -
Who cares how much we win by? IT's the finals. Win 4 games by 7 points total. WOrld champs. Sure, a win is a win. But will you feel like we truly won if after 2 double digit defeats we win game 3 at home by 1? Will that instill a lot of confidence going into the rest of the series? Or would a 15 point win instill more confidence in us AND the players? After getting curb stomped by the Nets in game one and 2, the Bucks needed a last second layup to beat the Nets in game 3 to avoid going down 3-0. Again, this isn't the Nets. But just get the W. Doesn't matter how.

FWIW, Utah had double digit wins against us in both regular season matchups. I didn't like that matchup at all.

The ump was so bad that reading the game thread, a casual observer would think we lost the game. He was so bad that we're kinda upset that our guy benefited from the calls at the end of the game to help us cushion our first place lead. "Not like this. Never like this"

Rode it all the way to the finals. That wasn't really my point. Yes, this is a really good team and they deserve to be here. But it feels like we do a heck of a lot of mental gymnastics to try to rationalize every game we lose that everything is just going so wrong for us and so right for our opponent. Ehh.... You're not wrong. By the same token there's a lot of mental gymnastics to rationalize how and why we have no chance to win this series. Maybe it's to soften the blow when we inevitably lose. PHX isn't vastly superior to the Bucks. They're PLAYING better, but they're not this mega better team as many or some are making them out to be. We've played like butt for two games. It's going to be tough to come back. If PHX continues to shoot 50% (which I don't expect them to XD ) then we're probably doomed. We might be anyways. Who knows?

This whole game turned in the 2nd quarter when we decided we didn't need to score in the paint. Bucks just get away from things that are working for the weirdest reasons.

I said this in game 1 of the ATL series, and I'll say it here. I hate that Patty C is trying to make critical plays with the season on the line. He's a nice hustle guy but he's not really the guy I want on the floor running the offense and taking critical shots right now. Sadly, no one aside from Giannis is scoring consistently tonight.

20 points in the quarter for Giannis and they trimmed the lead by a point. Gotta get some help from the rest of the team. Game is still within reach of one good run but gotta make some shots.

Yeah, but this should tell you something. It's hard to see anything other than Suns > Bucks. And it's not a small gap. Holiday and Midds are 6-26 and we're losing by 8

I think we can put the hunger stuff to bed. This team came back from down 0-2 and 3-2 to KD and won 2 games without Giannis in the ECF. Usually the "will to win" isn't enough. Sometimes the other team is better. So when I go bowling this weekend, I can't just bowl a 300 game simply because I want to?

It's always about the Hungar and the Will To Win and Desire. Talent has very little to do with it.

Sorry, but this is a lazy narrative that keeps getting repeated, despite being false. Bledsoe flat out disappeared in the playoffs. Holiday has had some poor shooting games, while continuing to distribute the ball well, and play mostly excellent defense. Shooting bad doesn't mean a guy had a bad overall game.

If Holiday is gonna drive the paint and take those scoop layups that's great, because they're there, but he's gotta make em.

HOw does the announcer think that's an offensive foul? Defenders feet were moving. 2 days ago they said (when Booker did the same thing) that they don't like the foul being called on the offensive player.
