  1. Well, cut the 10 point deficit to 3. Can't help but feel like they should be doing more against Atlanta's bench though....
  2. Jeez. Mr. High Standards over here....
  3. Bud has to just tell him don't do that again.
  4. There's been a lot of injuries in this playoff season. Kawhi, AD, Kyrie, Harden, to name a few. Everyone is playing hurt right now. The Bucks and Suns are pretty much the two healthiest teams (we're missing DDV of course), and if that's what brings us together in the finals, so be it.
  5. Maybe not lost, but not really talked about here.... What an amazing performance by Paul George. I still think the suns are going to take that series, but Paul George has done everything he can to keep the clippers alive. If they win in LA and get it to game seven, we all know anything can happen.
  6. Would not expect Goldschmidt to be on that list
  7. Like I said. Everyone is free to feel how they want to feel about their sports fandom
  8. Unrealistic expectations.... Sure. But nobody should get told they're being spoiled when they say they're frustrated that the team is 0-4 in the last decade in conf title games.
  9. Avi Garcia is fine. He's not getting benched for a guy who's played a quarter season above AA.
  10. 6.02d pitcher nor any player is not permitted to apply rosin to their glove or any part of their uniforms
  11. But as some may say, ‘Other than that Mrs Lincoln…..’ I'll say that my sports fandom is like 75 percent baseball, 15 percent basketball and 10 percent football... Do a sb (to me) has a lot less emotional resonance than a ws win would have.
  12. I think everyone is allowed to feel how they feel. Wanting to see a WC is not spoiled. I think telling other fans that they're spoiled or entitled because we've made the playoffs a few times and the Packers have lost (occasionally in embarrasing ways) in the NFC title game over and over is just kinda silly. People feel how they feel. I was a kid in the 80's, but I remember the Packers sucking hard. I have never seen the Brewers or Bucks win a world title. I've never seen the Bucks even make it to the finals, but I've seen them make it to the conference finals 5 times in my life, only to come up short every single time. That sucks As a state, our pro sports teams are 0-7 in conference title games/series since 2011. That sucks. The law of averages says that should be pretty tough to match, but here we are. Then there's the Badgers getting hosed in the Nat'l title game in 2015 by the refs against Duke. Yep. We've had some success..... some good teams. Only to get right on the doorstep and get crushed (often in embarrassing fashion like the Brian Bostick don't touch it game), or absolutely confusing and soul crushing fashion, when RRR decided to start a completely gassed and useless Shawn Marcum in the most important game of the year (2011). EVeryone can feel how they feel. It's not spoiled or entitlement. It's just how people feel. I don't think people would feel nearly the way they feel if we'd break through just ONCE in a while and even lost in the finals or the World Series, or whatever, but I think (as we've talked about in the Bucks thread), we're just so used to having it snatched from us that it maybe feels worse than it really is. Heck, I said the other day that my "best" sports memory from the last decade, aside from the Super Bowl in 2010 is the Brewers walk off win of a divisional playoff series. If that's spoiled and entitled, I'd hate to see what deprived is......
  13. Daniel Robertson seems like a strong candidate. I'm on board with that. Peterson with the .365 OBP is actually proving to be decently useful. For now.
  14. Jace Peterson is now up to a .765 OPS. We're gonna have to find a new whipping post for at least a few days.
  15. I didn't hear anyone from Atlanta say anything other than it was frustrating and I heard Young say with the injury he couldn't use his speed to "blow by" defenders. That doesn't sound like an excuse for a loss, just an explanation of how the injury limited him.
  16. I personally don't care if he plays, if he doesn't play, if he plays and his hampered by the bum ankle. If the bucks have an easier route to the finals because he stepped on a refs foot, I don't care. Injuries are part of the game. The bucks are playing without DDV basically since the start of the nets series and he has been a starter all season. He's not the equivalent of Kyrie Irving, or harden or Trey Young, I'm just saying injuries are part of the game. It's not even like he can blame one of our guys for following him hard. He stepped out of bounds and stepped on a refs foot.
  17. Trae Young questionable with a bone bruise.
  18. I guess I'll steer this back to the original point. Or I'll try to. It's not like Aaron Rodgers choke slammed his girlfriend. He didn't make a disparaging comment about a minority group. He's just kind of being a diva about things he wants in regards to pay and team construction. As others have said, winning the championship is really hard. You don't get in a lot of chances. I'd rather take my chances with an all-world quarterback, then sucking the next five years because people just don't like this guy.
  19. I think that's oversimplification to a degree. It was 25-10 and the bucks played well enough the rest of the first half to tie the game at half time. There were stretches of game where ATL couldn't stop Giannis at all and didn't do much and took bad shots. I agree that the last 7 minutes was prime "bucks" but I don't agree that they played poorly for the whole of the first 41 minutes.
  20. Trae Young had 0 rebounds in 39 minutes. That's impressive.
  21. If Young comes out gimpy in game 4, I like our chances of taking this thing in 5
  22. You know that no matter what, we have serve going back to Milwaukee. Even after the blowout win in Milwaukee, we still pretty much had to win one in ATL. We got that, and we have one to play with now.
  23. You can see these guys trying to actively avoid passing to Giannis. At this point, just take him out of the game. He's a liability at this stage.
  24. Eh, I'm not looking to debate much tonight. You were right about still feeling good about winning this (it appears) and that's all that really matters. I did not feel good about winning tonight. I just felt like too many 50/50 calls were not going our way. Middleton getting white-hot in the 4th quarter negated that though. Still got 80 seconds to run out yet though.
