I feel like.... you have 4 cracks at getting a yard. it doesn't matter for 1-2 of them if the defense "knows what's coming". put the big guy in there and plow through. if he gets stopped once or twice then get silly with your other stuff.
it's both possible to be ecstatic about the win and have questions about the playcalling and game management. those things can both exist. I'm happy the Packers are 7-1, but I know they can't keep coming away from goal to go situations with 3 or 0 points without it eventually biting them in the butt. hope it doesn't happen in a game that costs them home field. or in the playoffs.
On the other hand, Rodgers hasn't really done much, and if the Packers continue to run the ball, maybe the pass game will open up a bit in the 2nd half and Tonyan and Cobb and A. Rodgers will grab some throws and we'll get a few more scores.
Weren't you calling for a blowout loss? You should be happy with a 3pt lead at half. At least we aren't resting our starters and settling for a strategic loss.
Saw Dune on Friday. Completely blown away, which I haven't been by a movie in a long long time. The visuals are everything we've been told they would be, and the soundtrack is outstanding.
