  1. I was at that game as well and it was not a pleasant walk out of Wrigley. PS. $34-$37 mil is what Ken Rosenthal is reporting.
  2. A couple observations I had from Sunday's game. I parked in general, cannot remember the lot name, but it was right by the bridge. The police/security were cracking down on t shirt sellers. At one point (10) officers were next to my tailgate to boot a couple of guys out for selling t shirts. Although the number of officers may have been a little bit of overkill they were more than polite to the offenders explaining why what they are doing is wrong and kicking them out of the parking lot. As for the pricing I paid $25 to tailgate from 12pm - 330pm and about 45 minutes after the game. I didn't see anyone being asked to leave and I say I got more than my money's worth. In comparison I paid $46 to park in a ramp by Solider field for the UW vs Northern Illinois football game a few weeks ago. I am fine with charging what the market will bear. And for kicking people out they could do it 5 minutes after the game if they wanted too, it is there lot! Business's change there hours and policies based on situation all the time. Finally I saw a few people who were more drunk than I was during the pregame tailgate get into fights and get thrown out by the police/security. There were plenty of people giving the police/security a hard time about doing there job and booting the out of control drunks. This stuff really gets to me and comes off as incredibly juvenile. The lack of respect people give these officers/security personnel get for doing all of us a favor and getting rid of the undesirables is horrible. These people who are screaming are the same ones who like to complain whenever they are so called "disrespected by authority figures." I think if you are over the age of 23 and are having run ins with Security it is kind of pathetic and you are just not going to "get it" ever.
  3. I use stubhub frequently. They are actually affiliated with the MLB. 100% safe to use.
  4. I liked this show a lot at the begining. However it feels like it getting kind of stale pretty quick. Wilfred tries to teach Ryan a lesson. Wilfred does something bad, does some drugs, and it all works out. Hopefully something shakes up soon. It seems like it will need to if it wants a second season. I just cannot see where this show can go.
  5. I think Melvin stuck his neck way out to signe Greinke. I thinking him back tracking would be a bad idea. We have Greinke for this year and next. If he gets traded my guess it will be at next years deadline if we are out of contention. If we are in contention I think we keep him and get the draft picks as we will be doing with Fielder.
  6. I loved the book and am way excited for the movie. Anyone criticizing a movie trailer needs to get a life.
  7. Really hoping for Gray @12. As for 15, Tyler Anderson seems to be getting late buzz. I am hoping for Guerrieri, Springer or Mahtook. Gray and Guerrieri would be my preffered picks.
  8. I found this atricle this morning. States the cast does not even know who it will be yet. Also a nice breakdown of the candidates. I am pulling for Catherine Tate, but I could see Spader working out fine. http://www.tv.com/the-office-ranking-the-regional-manager-candidates/story/25904.html?tag=hotspot;gumball;1
  9. Got my stuff today. Thanks!
  10. I think you are thinking of Chris Bosio. It was around Navarro's era. He no hit the Redsox 4/22/93. http://www.baseball-almanac.com/box-scores/boxscore.php?boxid=199304220SEA
  11. I was a bit off I guess. Ken_Rosenthal Ken Rosenthal Source: Weeks deal with #Brewers is 5 yrs., 50M. #MLB 3 minutes ago Favorite Retweet Reply
  12. Any guesses on money? I was thinking 4 years $32.5 million.
  13. Got me a Greinke Jersey for $59.99 with free shipping and no tax. Thought I would pass it on. http://www.fatwallet.com/best-deals/modells-sporting-goods-coupon-40-off-your-entire-online-order/

  15. Late rumor that more than Garza may be going back to Cubbies. SI_JonHeyman Jon Heyman archer and lee are better players going to #rays in garza deal. as many as 8 players involved. could be 5 going to rays for 3
  16. Looks to be done. 5 players go to the Rays. http://sports.espn.go.com...&source=CHICAGOHeadlines
  17. -Cory Hart slugs 9 HR's and hits .230 -Bradock gets hit around with a 6.00 ERA, but still makes the team -Carlos Gomez bats 2nd on opening day -Ryan Braun wears military fatigues to all away games -Mustachioed John Axford joins The Rent is Too Damn High Party
  18. I won a 32" Panasonic TV about 16 years ago. It was worth about $1400 at the time. I won it on a call in local access sports show called "Lets Talk Sports," which was filmed in Janesville, WI. I won the weekly award, of a Packer party, which included pizzas and sodas, and then they did a grand prize drawings of all of the winners towards the end of the football season. I was a Sophomore at the time and felt like a pretty cool guy the next day when I realized how many of my fellow students actually watched that show too, and saw me win. The trivia question I answered was: Which current Packer at the time, was a high school teammate of Leroy Butler? Answer below (Highlight) Edgar Bennett
  19. I just flipped the game on an fans were being ejected to a cheering crowd. What happened?
  20. I would rather sign Jeff Suppan for the next two years than trade for Carlos Zambrano.
  21. Seattle would be crazy to trade Felix. He just signed a 5 year contract before the season. It just does not make any sense. It would be as ridiculous as us trading Ryan Braun a year after he signed his contract. It is just not going to happen under any circumstances. We can dream, but there is no prayer of this.
  22. I do not understand the major depression about not trading Prince or Corey. They will both be available to trade in the offseason. And in the offseason teams are willing to trade major league pitching. I am not against trading either of them, but standing pat is better than gettting a crappy mid season return like the D-Backs did for Haren.
  23. The SF beat writer says the trade talks are dead in the water with the Brewers. That along with Hart not playing, I would agree he is most likely not being traded. I would be hesitant if I was a playoff team to trade for Hart coming off this small injury. Especially at the high price I assume Melvin is asking. He will probably be available in the offseason along with Prince.
  24. Corey with a soft cast on the wrist tonight. It was said his thumb nail was lost and most of the pain is coming through the thumb. They also said he is hoping to be back by the end of this series. If he is back that soon, I have to think he will be traded if he is 100%. Otherwise there is no reason to rush him back this fast.
  25. He was in the current ESPN magazine as well. Talked about how many balls he has caught and where to do it in the ball park.
