  1. NOT the kind of streak I'm hoping for. We've got a chance against Estes and Cruz - both Kinney and Davis have pitched quite well lately, so let's see if we can't take the Cubs down a couple of notches. I'll settle for taking two out of three in this series.
  2. How about the Crew starting another streak tomorrow?
  3. Would it kill the management to open the checkbook so we don't put folks like Vander Wal out there every day? To back up Jenkins, fine, but out there behind Sexson every day - that shouldn't be the case.
  4. Yeah, well, our offense was without Jenkins, so the odds were pretty even on that front. All we can do it try to run up another streak after this game. It might not hurt to bring Zoccolillo and Rushford up, and see which of them can play.
  5. If so, then that is pretty bad roster management, IMO. Unless Geoff...
  6. Probably Hall will have to hit a lot lower than .296 for that to happen... We still got time for a comeback... just keep it close, Ben...
  7. But the Cubs are up 1-0 right now...
  8. Brooks might have to do just that. Question is, can he play the OF every day?

  10. Someone sure seems to step up each game... Maybe with Jenkins out, Sheets steps it up... perfect game at Wrigley? 29 games to go, 12.5 games behind the Astros. This could be one heck of a run... http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

  12. Geoff will have his thumb checked out in Milwaukee tomorrow. If it's not broken, he could make it to Chicago in time for the game at 3:20 EDT.

  14. If not, Ginter can play left, and Bill Hall's hitting the cover off the ball. Maybe we can hold it together. But it looks as if we may have to do a little shuffling between Indy and Milwaukee.

  16. Next, we're off to Wrigley... Let's take the Cubs down a peg or three.

  18. NOW you know why I want Hall at second. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif Put Ginter in left if Jenkins can't come back. FREE BILL HALL!!!

  20. MachMeister5 I'd rather have a player like Jenkins than one who doesn't go all out. It comes with the territory when you have a maximum effort player. Hopefully, it's not a fracture.
