  1. When you're me, nothing is routine. Great line.
  2. Kind of looks like Chicago may be in the clear. Let's rattle Zambrano early and get into his head.
  3. She doesn't recall there being any outfield fences You guys are just gonna have to hit "little league homers" that get by the OF's and roll forever.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
  4. I thought I had a good shot at top 4 and then I "lead ballooned" it. I went from 2nd to 10th.
  5. The Brewers just swept the Braves and this thread is still buried on page 2. Not any more. Here's to the sweep and here's to the High Life!
  6. I think that angle was more self-perceived than anything. I don't think guys really care. Drinking is drinking, right? That being said, beer me.
  7. Posted by Mass in Friday's Link Report: "Hi everyone -- I'll be taking my first Link Report season break this weekend with a little Cape Cod getaway. Too bad Cape Cod League college-ball season isn't underway yet, right colbyjack? You'll see my moniker on the initial posts for Saturday and Sunday, which have been pre-staged for other Brewerfan staff members. While staff members will fill in more than capably, moderators or others are invited to post updates as they become available as well. Don't worry about fancy formatting or such, let's just get the info out there. Here's to a fun and productive weekend for all, thanks."
  8. Anyone have any idea when the Brewers last had a 4 homerun inning? Never. Jim Powell just said that the Brewers and Pilots both had 3 HR inning games, but never 4....NOW 5.
  9. Billy Hall with a leadoff HR! 4-0 Crew.
  10. Bucky, a college drunkfest is just that. You need some seasoned pros in there to show you kids how it's done.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Then again, it can seem a little creepy when the older guys start showing up at college parties, you know? A buddy of mine lived a block from Camp Randall the past 2 years and always had football parties that I attended. I had no problem hanging on a party level but yet felt a little out of place as I had about 10 years on most of them.
  11. tuba house party in madison tomorrow night for anyone interested, 1004 vilas ave. I say we all show up.
  12. This case of MGD is disappearing rather rapidly........
  13. This fell to page 2 rather quickly and I'm here to revive it. Nice job by Cappy tonight. I'm feeling good and the win is only going to help. Cheers!
  14. Braves @ Mets is scoreless thru 5. Hudson has a perfect game going for Atlanta and Glavine has only allowed two hits, both to Jeff Francouer. Edit-Mets get a hit in the 6th to break up perfect game.
  15. Cards lead 2-0 on 2 solo homers off of Santos. Those are the only 2 hits Victor gave up before getting pulled.
  16. Lots of afternoon baseball today including three NL Central foes, Cincy, Pittsburgh and St. Louis. As for the games, Chris Carpenter has a no-no thru 5 at Pittsburgh.
  17. I'm still in the dark as to how this league's scoring works. Aren't we all using basic rotisserie? There's 16 teams in the league, so the statistical leader in each category gets a 16, the second best a 15, and so on. You then add up all of your point values to get your total. Is that what you were looking for?
  18. Let's hope the Mets are getting it out of their systems in D.C. today before we play them this weekend. They hit 3 first inning HRs off Livan Hernandez.
  19. Jim Powell with the line of the year when talking about Busch Stadium: That's signature worthy. I may need to update mine.
  20. My reverse pyschology worked however. Lee please dont hit a home run. Keep it up Fondy.
  21. This is starting to feel like it's going to be a long night.
  22. Geez, we're done batting already. Congrats to Dave Bush on his first hit.
