  1. Webb's coming off of 3 bad starts and the flu? Smells like a Cy Young performance coming up tonight. The trick with Webb is getting his pitch count up. He's one of those guys that will shut you out for 5-6 innings and then get rocked as his pitch count rises. Seriously though, nice pitching matchup tonight.
  2. You know, 7 and 7's are good. Yes they are. I stopped drinking those (and Jack & Coke's) awhile back when I realized they hurt my head in the morning. That's why I'm exclusively a beer man now, no pain in the morning.
  3. I just took off my shirt and stared at my nipple for 5min. Than It came to me. Why the hell do I have a nipple? then of course I played with it for 5 more min. I'm still laughing after reading this twice.
  4. JJ!!! Of course it comes after the double play.
  5. I've left my seat twice tonight and both times I've come back after a STL homer. I think I'll stay seated from here on. C'mon boys, Mulder can be had.
  6. scrubs losing 3-0 Sorry to jump in on this....I'm gonna start a non-game thread. It's 5-0 and Wood is out, shoulder related.
  7. Ahhh, I thought Sheets had the hit there.
  8. The Brewers are +140 in this game. That seems like an awfully generous line with Ben Sheets on the mound. Just for giggles, I just took a look and saw that the moneyline is now +155. Brewers could make some "investors" happy tonight.
  9. Hopefully we'll catch Mulder on one of his down nights. He's been very hot-and-cold this year. When he gives up runs, he usually gives up a fair amount. Break out the bats, boys.
  10. Thanks, Blowttalico. Because of you, here I am tonight.
  11. I don't remember off the top of my head, who was it? I want to say Steve Woodard.
  12. Did he really moon the camera??? If he's GP's roommate, I don't doubt for a second that he was going for the moon.
  13. I heard we were on TV, right by some guys with Rollie FIngers mustaches and a sign. Yeah, they had those guys on and Bill did his Bert Blyleven "circle me" bit.
  14. Botallico has value, just stop using him EVERY GAME. Are they "over-showcasing" him? Soon (fingers crossed), we'll never have to use him.
  15. Anybody for Bottalico. It's hard to imagine a contender wanting a reliever who performs this well on a nightly basis.
  16. Bottalico drives me nuts. Sell him to the first bidder......now!
  17. It's $1 PBR night for Jamie. Hopefully a quality night of drinking will help you come up with a foolproof scheme to nab Dusty.
  18. Congrats Scoop. I have a 3 1/2 year old daughter who watches the games on TV with me. So far, I've taught her two very important phrases that she always yells when the game is on: "Go Brewers!" "Boo Cubs!"
  19. that sparks is a good druink if you can handle the sweetness.. I have a bartender friend who got a few of those as free samples and asked me to try one. I tried the orange...tasted like watery tang with alcohol. I know lots of people can drink that kind of stuff. I can't. I'm strictly a beer guy.
  20. Hoo neids speel chekker?
  21. Look at Daron with that wacky mustache. That's quality TV, folks.
  22. Oh my goodness no Drinkers do not understand The art of haiku AAaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!! Make it stop!!!!!
  23. You guys are crazy Haikuing all through the game Now I'm crazy too
