    Ya, that's been announced before. He left for the birth of a child and then took time off immediately after. Ash recently said it's literally a day-to-day issue and they couldn't discuss details for confidentiality issues.

    You didn't miss anything, it's just something I decided to do until the Brewers either win a series or win 4 in a row, I haven't decided which. So far we're 2-1 since I started doing it, so I'm clearly effecting things!

    Ya, I was going to make some header graphic that said "Battle for the Bottom", but decided that was just to pessimistic for this series, seeing as we'd have to get swept for that to happen. And if that happens, I'll probably want to rename it something to do with a suicide watch.

    Technically the president still goes down, she's just choosing to turn herself over, instead of being taken out by leaks later. She still said she would be resigning and turning herself over to the attorney general. I liked how they ended it. It did remind me of that season they faked Jack's death at the end. I always maintained they could have made a great end to the show right there, letting him live in secrecy. I believe I saw an interview after it was announced 24 wasn't coming back, where the producers basically said the same thing. They really tried to repeat that set up again, which was cool.

    Jimmy Kimmel said in that web only session, that the Blu-ray was going to have features that explained more stuff that wasn't explained on the show.

    But why does it matter how long some people waited, or how early others died before someone else? I thought it was very good, but I went into it, not looking for answers to random questions, but just an end to a story, and in that way I really enjoyed the ride.

    Not that I don't believe Mark, but even if Macha's job hinged on this weekend, Mark isn't going to say anything different in that interview about it. At least now we know Mark hates watching the games as much as we do right now. There's that. :|

    I guess the question is then if you trust him to improve the pitchers who aren't performing well? Because if you trust him to try to improve them, why only improve underperforming people? Wouldn't it stand to reason he could improve people who are performing well too, if he sees somewhere they can improve? I'm not necessarily trying to defend Peterson's methods, because I don't know enough about them/him, but I think it's a legit question.

    While this would be a fine bookend, I know people who have been predicting this at the beginning of the season (not Claire, but the same scene, and always with at least Jack), so I'm guessing it won't happen that way. That's a good point you raise about Kate too actually. Homer, I'm guessing, since they saved the reveal for the finale, that Jack's wife is going to be Juliet, even though that doesn't really fit with how they've treated the sideways timeline so far. With the exception of Sawyer and Miles, none of the characters knew each other anymore than they did in the original timeline. So for Jack and Juliet to have married and raise a child is a big swing. Not to mention, in the sideways so far, relationships have largely repeated, so I would believe Jack would have married Julie Bowen again. However, Juliet wouldn't have spent years on the island either, so, who knows. Anyway, my guess is that Juliet will be at the concert, and possibly Sawyer ends up there trying to find Kate and meets Juliet and bam, we all get visions of the other life, as the other characters who experienced love did.

    This isn't a giant spoiler, but it is a spoiler all the same, concerning the final scene, so decide for yourself. Spoiler [+]I saw some final interviews with Keifer and Mary Lynn (Chloe) after they finished filming, and learned the following; The final scene appears to be of Jack and Chloe in that stairwell we saw in the preview. The final scene as discussed in both interviews though, is Jack and Chloe and according to Mary Lynn, it is an emotional finish and Chloe has the last line of the series, to which she says she felt honored and immediately started bawling afterwards.
