    I've called Bill clueless before, but for some unknown reason I've also gone out of my way trying to defend him. I'm done doing that.

    My god, Schroeder pressed him over and over with questions like "Have you talked to your dad yet?" and "What do you think he'd say?" If he wanted to even get into the situation, he should have prefaced his questions accordingly with something like, "I can understand if you don't want to talk about this..."

    That's kind of what I thought. Although I'm sure you'd enjoy it, I didn't think a dedicated server would involve running a T-line into your house.

    What does a dedicated server entail? Is this something where the site would have to get a line and buy equipment? Or is it something that would be rented from someone else?

    I just wanted to mention that the 5/31 game thread hasn't been transferred to the archives yet. It's currently on page 3 of the Major Leagues forum. Also, is the 6/02 game thread still around? Maybe I'm blind! (It doesn't seem that it should have been involved in the attack, but I do see that lots of weird caveats were mentioned in the ezBoard announcements.)

    I see the other thread is bumping again. I'll post a reply over there since it's more on topic: 3TO shirts selling like hotcakes I read that, too. Brian has taken down the link, the board's been much more responsive, and the other thread is bumping, so it seems that ezBoard is well on its way to fixing things.

    He was interested, but didn't say a lot, mainly because there were a lot of distractions. I was supposed to say 'hi' from his aunt, cousin and grandma, so of course he was interested in that, too. Then the pen didn't work right, so that was a priority. Then my mom called on the cell phone because she couldn't find my dog (Casey, who was born in 1992). If it weren't for the dang dog, who was sleeping in a closet, I'd have gone through the line again and talked to him more.

    This may be an issue due to the recent 'attack'. I just posted to page 3 of the 3TO shirts selling like hotcakes thread. My message posted, but the thread didn't bump to the top and my name didn't show as making the most recent post. Anyway, I thought it would be of interest that Russ signed two 3TO shirts for me last weekend.

    Russ has now officially seen (and signed) two of the 3TO shirts. I got two signed for my nephews last Saturday at the Brewers Clubhouse store. He hadn't seen them before. There wasn't much time to talk, but in the minute or so we had I could briefly explain the shirt and pimp this site. Actually, we spent more time figuring out how to make the pen work on the shirts.

    One other thing Mark mentioned was that he feels no sense of hesitation or buyer's remorse regarding Sheets' long term deal.

    Attanasio: ? It's possible that Tony Gwynn Jr. could go to Nashville to replace Krynzel. Tony Sr. seems feel that AA is a good fit for his son right now, but says he's 'thrilled' to hear of a possible promotion. Mark was able to specifically mention Tony's BA and OBP. ? The Brewers could easily be 5 to 7 games over .500. ? There's no reason that the Brewers shouldn't be able to compete with a $50-60 million payroll. ? It's important to sign and keep players who want to be in Milwaukee. Mark specifically mentioned Sheets, Jenkins, and Overbay. ? The Brewers discussed bringing up Fielder to DH in interleague play but resisted the temptation. The Krynzel promotion now makes that possibility unlikely.

    Here's another thought. All modern browsers have a tab feature. (Note that I exclude Internet Explorer from any list of anything modern.) You could continually reload the page with the thread list. When a new post appears in the game thread, open it in a new tab. Some modern browsers: Firefox (several platforms), Mozilla Suite (several platforms), Netscape 7 (several platforms), Netscape 8 Beta (Windows), Safari (Mac), Opera (several platforms), K-Meleon (Windows), OmniWeb (Mac), Camino (Mac)

    You beat me to it! That's what I was thinking of but couldn't describe.

    Some load the previous page then use the link that's there to return to where they started. Others change the end of the URL in the location bar. Example: I remember a post suggesting that one person found it easier to change his ezBoard preferences to load a lot more messages on a single page. The bottom line, however, is that there's no definitive easy solution that everyone would prefer.

    Here's the the old thread. It would seem that you need some line breaks above. You might want to experiment by editing the first post. Your first sign of progress would be to get the pages to not scroll sideways. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif When you wrote that first post, were you set to HTML or ezCodes? Procedures may change slightly between the two.

    Except for 2004, Branyan's numbers are very good against lefties. Over his career, his numbers against lefties are better than his numbers vs. righties. However, the splits are so scattered that I'm not sure how much meaning can be derived from them.
