    I don't have a problem with starting Hall today; I'd have a problem if it happened too often. While two starts in 4 days would be too often if it became a pattern, two starts over the course of the whole season wouldn't seem to be. Let's see what happens as time progresses.

    Not really, because I've mentioned this before. Russ' aunt was a regular participant on the Brewers' mlb.com board last summer. She posted a couple times on this forum last summer, too. I sent the store link to her yesterday. She forwarded it to family members and received the response from one of them this morning that the t-shirt had arrived. Someone's been paying attention, but in this case, it wasn't her. She hasn't been around yet this season, which is what prompted me to e-mail her. Last year she told us that she felt that Russ had matured due to parenthood and the trip to the minors, and had become much more receptive to coaching. Note that since Russ' acquisition, she's been watching his OPS.

    The pregame show is on DirecTV. This the first time I've ever seen them air one. I see Craig Cushon (sp) is on. Will that mean no Bob Brainerd? (I'd use a praying hands emoticon here if we had one.)

I can see where 'applet' could be a problem with ezBoard, though.

    DHonks, I read your post a couple of hours ago and it took me a good five minutes for it to dawn on me what P.O.S. meant! I wouldn't advocate loosening terms of service in the in-game threads, but at least the questionable stuff is somewhat camouflaged. With over 700 posts in today's thread, people will have to work hard to find it. Brian 'rebuked' someone the other day and provided a link to the FAQ (naming names, of course, but still being fairly polite). Unless things get worse, that's probably a reasonable way to go.

    SlideBernieSlide: There are several ways to post 'pretty' lineups. This is probably the easiest. 1. Go to USAToday.com's scores page. 2. Make sure that page is set to the right day. It was still showing yesterday's scores. I had to click a link that said 'Wednesday'. 3. Follow the link to the Brewers game, then copy and paste the lineups. A text or word processing file is handy for this. 4. Make sure the ezCodes radio button is checked in the Forum reply box. 5. Hit the "Code" button. 6. ezBoard is only going to want to let you paste one line of "code" in the box that pops up. Type in anything. 7. Paste the lineups (from your text file) between the two code tags that show up in your reply box (in place of whatever you've typed in step 6). (Note that the forum's preview function can help you out.)
