  1. I think it's OK to exceed 110 pitches once in a while, especially when a guy is 31 years old. But 113 is quite a bit more than the 72, 94, and 83 pitches that Señor Senior Guerra threw in his previous starts.
  2. The center field well was designed to produce triples. It's always too bad when it produces them for the opponent, though.
  3. Good trivia question today… Which three Wisconsin-born players have won the Rookie of the Year award? The answer will be Harvey Kuenn, Tony Kubek, and Eric Hinske. The question was inspired by Hinske, who's the Cub's assistant hitting coach.
  4. Flores is a last minute replacement for Santana. The lineup in the lead has been adjusted accordingly.
  5. I dislike the stuff scrolling across the bottom of the screen no matter what it says. I especially dislike it when it cuts off a ball in the dirt or a shoestring catch. As far as the minors, it seems that winning is the best way to avoid being stuck in places like Colorado Springs.

  7. Travis came into the AB with a .524 OPS and 9 career homers. Still, you throw him strikes.
  8. This article might help: http://www.pcworld.com/article/2971725/windows/how-to-reclaim-your-privacy-in-windows-10-piece-by-piece.html The video touches on critical settings with the article getting into more detail. The one I don't get is the setting that has to be changed within each web browser. It sounds like it's cookie-based. If that's the case, you may have to reset it every time you toss your cookies. Otherwise, as logan82 says, it's a good idea to check these settings after Windows updates. Since updates happen without your approval, it would pay to figure out when they happen so you'll know to go back and inspect your settings.
  9. watching a HR while running to 1st base The batter should be doing that. He needs to know where the ball is until it's out of the park. Standing still and watching a home run is another story. We shouldn't even have to debate it from a celebration or taunting standpoint. The stupidity occurs when the ball doesn't go out of the park. That happened to Albert Pujols in Milwaukee. The ball didn't go out, and he got thrown out at second on what should have been an easy double.

  11. I eyeballed no-hitters and cycles a while back. While the Brewers have had less than their share of no-hitters, they've had more than their share of cycles.
  12. Fourteen members of the Jays and Rangers have received discipline. Rougned Odor is out for eight games. Jesse Chavez and John Gibbons are out for three games. José Bautista received a one-game ban. More here: Rougned Odor gets 8-game suspension for punching Jose Bautista
  13. These shifts make for some strange entries in the scorebook. Rizzo just lined out to the third baseman (Hill), who was playing to the right of second base, approximately where you'd frequently find the second baseman playing. Still, it's scored L-5.
