  1. My awesome girlfriend got our print framed and matted for my birthday and I thought I would share. Anyone that has one of these I would highly recommend framing and matting it, makes it look amazing. http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm120/pmals24/167857_186519151380785_100000681051032_489176_1880575_n.jpg
  2. I was also there tonight and it was one of the better sporting moments I have witnessed in person. Braddock was in a full out sprint out of the bullpen along with the rest of the guys. Balkin Bob did sour it for me. MLB needs to do something about this guy, the way he treated that usher was just terrible. The best part about him kicking the fan out was he didn't have the guts to walk on the same side of the guy, instead he walks to the complete opposite side to point him out to an usher. We could hear him say "guy in the white shirt he's out", and the usher having no idea which one of the 85 guys in the white shirt asks him again who. So Davidson starts to yell at him to get the cops. The poor usher had no idea who he was talking about, and Davidson shows up the usher. And for the umpire to do it in the middle of the inning shows that he truly thinks he is bigger than the game.
  3. never seen a player stare into a dugout like that.....
  4. if fielder does get traded how come no one ever mentions Braun as his replacement at 1st base. I think that is where he will move once fielder is gone. Other than Gomez our outfield defense is pretty weak. To me that just makes too much sense. Braun did show soft hands while playing third, it was his footwork and throwing that got him moved off. I think he can be a gold glove type first baseman, we already know his bat will play there. I would be looking for a 2/3 rotation pitcher and a starting corner OF in return for Prince.
  5. great to see George in there catching again after catching the whole game yesterdayhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/eyes.gif
  6. I'm usually not one for jumping on the fire the manager wagon. But after tonights first inning I cannot see how any player can have any kind of respect for Macha. When that umpire went after bush it took macha a long time to get out there to say a couple of words to him. If that was me, and my team is on the ropes, I am running as fast as I can out to the ump as soon as I see him going after my player. To me the fact that he was not out there right away and didn't give that ump an ear full until he got ran is beyond me. I actually hate when managers like pinella go out there and make a joke of themselves, but if there was ever a time to do it tonight was it. To me that is the greatest example of this team doesn't have macha's back nor does he have theirs.
  7. Pretty much what everyone else said, except for a couple of stories. Saw on fight in the parking lot after the game, one guy got his nose smashed up pretty good and his buddy must have fell or got pushed into the trash, and had a gash on his palm that pretty much gushed blood like a fountain. It got broken up and of course the one buddy of the group who never got into the fight, because he was all of a buck fifty tried to get the guys who were bleeding all of the place to go back. His exact words were "If you want to do this, let's do it". The other guys started walking back with the little guy of course behind the both of them. If the little guy would have just gotten punched I'm sure none of it would have happen. Also, he brewers always have those trivia questions that people have to answer in between innings. The first is the time warner triple play where they put three brewers up and give you three random facts to guess who they are. The players were Kottaras, McGhee, and someone else. Two of the hints were that he went to Fresno State, and led all rookies in RBI last year. The Guy answered Kottaras. As bad as that may be the Air Tran question where you can win tickets was way better. The question was something to the effect of where did Braun hit his 100th career homerun. The choices were Arizona, San Francisco (I think), and Dallas. The guy picked Dallas!! And they say opening day is for true baseball fans, ha!
  8. Not sure what to make of this. Braun doesn't take many days off. If I'm corey hart it would make me wonder about my future with this team.
  9. You vividly remember that play because it was Game 1 of the first playoff series in 26 years. If that play happened in game 45 you most likely would not have remembered it. You have to remember to look at the whole picture when judging his defense. I can say that I have a lot more confidence in him as as fielder than I did say a year and a half ago.
  10. as stated already I doubt they get much of a return on any of these guys. The one thing it will tell us is if someone is claimed we know that they were not in the plans for next year. Also anyone want to take bets on how long it takes good old Tony to pick this up and put it on the js website?
  11. In the long run, it doesnt matter if you score 6 runs on 6 solo home runs or on a bunch of singles and doubles, but I think its more likely that you're going to score 6 runs with singles and doubles. What you are missing is how hard it is to get six hits in a row, or even 6 out of 12 for that matter. remember that this is a sport that you are considered good in when you fail 7 out of 10 times. plan and simple the homerun is the easiest way to score a run.
  12. I don't think he wanted to play for anyone other than the phils. If I remember correctly the brewers tried to watch him twice and neither time did he show up to throw.
  13. not trying to be funny but bill hall has to be a mental midget. How can he not realize that his approach at the plate has stunk for 2 plus years, yet he refuses to change it.
  14. Can anyone share with us some websites that they use that have useful information on the players. I like to read up on them after the brewers draft them. Thanks
  15. awsome thanks a lot, that is what I am looking for
  16. Just wondering if anyone knew the details on getting a table out there. Our pool league team some kitty money that it needs to spend and that was one of the idea's that came up. Any help would be helpful seeing I looked everywhere and couldn't find anything (too lazy to call, ha)
  17. sorry this does not do it for me. This is the first time all year he hits the ball and he now feels it's time to step up and call out teammates? I would not be suprised if this rubs more than one teammate the wrong way.
  18. what about including escobar and getting one of their bullpen arms Bentancourt or Kobayashi?
  19. it has not come in the last two nights for whatever reason and it is starting to anger me
  20. anyone else having trouble with FSN the last two nights?http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif
