I do believe it was Taylor who hired our next Brewer manager......Frank Kremblas

Corrolla has to be the most untalented person in hollywood. The man show was really cool, but everything else the guy does is painful.

Maybe I'm crazy but does anyone think Braun slightly resembles Bud Bundy in that video?

I hate you. But it's true. Even my wife thinks I sound like Ray Ramano. I look like Bob Mould and sound like Ray Ramano. Actually I don't think you sound like Ray Romano at all. I was thinking you sound more like Manfred the wooly mammath. For now on I'm referring to you as Manfred.

This might have already been posted, but I got a nice response from FSN Wi to my complaint email. They said they are going through a transition. They apologized. A new director is taking over the 2nd week of May and to expect immediate improvements at that time.

NO KIDDING It's like watching a high school broadcast. Just yesterday the cameras spent half the game watching the players and coaches in the dugout. They'd flash to the hitter for a second just as the ball was crossing the plate. I was screaming "there is a friggin baseball game going on, how about showing it!" my son started cracking up cause I lost it. And you are right. I used to laugh at last years broad casts but now I'm wishing they were that good. I emailed fox sports Wisconsin and complained. We shouldn't have to watch a playoff caliber team like this.

It shouldn't seem all that strange. We've got Hart and Hardy who cannot hit righties very well. We really don't have a legit #2 hitter. I think Melvin is thinking Blalock would hit 2nd vs righties and Hart or Hardy would hit 2nd vs lefties. I hate these platoons but Melvin for what ever reason loves them. I guess if gives something for Ned to screw up. The big thing that bothers me about Blalock is his inability to hit away from Ameriquest. The other thing that bothers me is he's a 1st half hitter. Unless Blalock is just given to us, I think Doug should look else were. Who would play 3rd base vs lefties? Counsel? He's worse then Blalock. Graffy is not expected to be healthy for the start of the season. While I understand Doug's want for a left handed hitter, Blalock should not be that guy. What Doug should really be looking for is a guy who can get on base vs righties...and that guy is Andy LaRoche. Either that or Rolen.

I'm done supporting Doug, I want results.

This is what Melvin does every winter meeting. He calls other teams and asks them what they want for X player. They tell him, and he says "OK, thanks bye" and he's never heard from again. He's there he mine as well do something. By Friday he'll be prank calling other teams. Then he'll get into his usual contract talks w/ a FA, and just fall short by like $1million per year or something like that.....oh wait He's already got his Craig Counsel signing out of the way Mr. Kendal. Next on the Melvin agenda....sign a very very average player for about 3-4 years and over pay him. hmmm who could it be? I'm thinking Brad Wilkerson or Pedro Feliz.

Hopefully we'll designate Suppan for assignment and give his spot to Parra.

We are not getting Dye, the Redsox are. If that is the case then the Sox need to part with an OF. Willy Mo Pena is the most likely IMO. Are we part of this deal? I'll believe it when I see it.

The fact that Braun's dad was a lefty has been printed and reported before. A few weeks ago a reporter asked Braun why he was so succesful against lefties and he said probably because of his dad. Thanks for the inside scoop though. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

I think if we want to seriously compete for a playoff run then we HAVE to bring in a productive left fielder. We have the SP IMO. Gallardo, Sheets, Capuano, Bush is a plenty good enough for a playoff run. Our bull pen is suspect but can get hot at any time. Our offense has one hole - left field. So IMO Melvin needs to decide "do we make a run now?" or just hope for the best and be happy with a nice season from a bunch of youngsters? As a fan I'd like to see us do something now. Obviously the asking prices might be so high that it makes no sense long term or short term. Who knows.
