  1. Scully is one of the top handful of announcers of all time. He's better than almost everyone who has ever lived on this Earth. To like him better than our guys is no surprise.I knew people would take that comment that way. What I meant to say is that there are ways to be a good announcer without being a shameless homer, and our guys exemplify almost none of that.
  2. It amazes me that people on this board still do not understand that Rock and BA are forced to be homers and always talk about the good things the brewers do. It would not be good for the average fan, who makes up probably 90% of viewers, if they just listed all the reasons why the brewers actually suck. Even when they try to criticize Gomez or something they say he has been struggling a little bit. I just spent the last couple of nights listening to Vin Scully. Calling the game as a Dodger fan, I still liked him better than our guys. I'm sure that Rock and BA are expected to speak well of the home team, but that doesn't mean that they can't also be bad play-by-play/color guys.
  3. Rock just claimed that the "Brew Crew have really been flashing the leather." And that we've been really good all year except for the last road trip...
  4. More crap. Braun on third with Fielder up and no outs...and we somehow manage to not get the run. Unbelievable. Bring me RRR's head.
  5. Oh that is just too much. Kotsay robbed of an extra base hit on one of his few hard hit balls by Tony Gwynn.
  6. We don't seem to get it where Kuroda's making his living either...And btw...Gomez = FAIL
  7. Getting screwed on that corner. Tell me that wasn't as good as Kuroda's pitch. Vin Scully seemed to be wondering about it as well...
  8. Agreed. Just looked like one of the more egregious examples.
  9. Watching the SD feed, and have to say that Enberg and whoever is calling it with him have been fun to listen to.
  10. Molina with the super-loud F-bomb on the STL feed. That's a shame. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif
