  1. I received my NLCS "Sorry you weren't selected for tickets" e-mail about an hour ago. StubHub...here I come!
  2. Weird - I was just flipping between 3 and 1202, I'm not seeing much of a difference.....
  3. trenni Trenni Kusnierek Just in case this was lost in the shuffle: GAME THREE ON TUESDAY IS ON TNT *NOT* TBS. (Yanks/Tigers on TBS)
  4. Game times announced (Central time): Game 3: 8:37 PM start Game 4 (If needed): 8:37 PM start (7 PM start if only game that night) Game 5 (If needed): 4:07 PM start
  5. Game times announced (Central time): Game 3: 8:37 PM start Game 4 (If needed): 8:37 PM start (7 PM start if only game that night) Game 5 (If needed): 4:07 PM start
  6. Tweet from Tyler Barnes: Brewers NLDS Game 1 game set for 1:07 pm Saturday. Haudricourt tweeted that Game 2 will be 3:30 PM Sunday. They avoided a conflict with the Badger game, but will smack head-on with the Packers.
  7. Nick Piecoro (beat writer for the D-Backs) just tweeted that he received the same information as Drew.....
  8. Looks like there'll be some kind of conflict for Sunday - either with people leaving the Eagles game and getting to the Philly game or having the Brewer game conflict with the Packer game.....
  9. Yes, he did mention that during the game.
  10. That probably doesn't rank high in priorities. The Brewers will probably play at 11AM because they wouldn't put ratings draws Yankees, Phillies, or Red Sox at that time - process of elimination. I think the Brewers have a better chance of playing at 9 then at 11. It would suck for wisconsin sports fans as the Badgers would be on ... but it will probably make sense. 11 - Rays at Texas. 2:30ish- Cards at Phillies 5:30ish - Tigers at Yankees 8:30ish - DBacks at Brewers It was mentioned somewhere that TBS would try not to schedule the Brewers against the Badger game.... Edit: Just remembered - Bob Wolfley had a blog earlier today with that sentiment.
  11. That was a screaming liner.... Oh the drama - tonight is living up to its billing between this game and Philly/Atlanta!
  12. I'm praying for this as well. He's been quite effective with his pitch count so far.....
  13. A hit in his next AB would give Prince a .300 avg.
  14. Haudricourt Tom Weeks' blast was 470 feet, fourth-longest in Miller Park history.
  15. Actually - for those who receive Time Warner cable, it's easier to get TBS than ESPN. My parents dropped down to basic cable (their lowest tier) and can receive TBS, along with the normal Milwaukee stations (NBC, FOX, etc), but no ESPN.
  16. My daughter and I were at the game last night sitting in the Beerpen. Just an electric atmosphere. The crowd was just alive all game long. When Braun came up for his AB in the 8th, I told the people around us that the place was going to go up if he hit one out....not saying I called it, either! We moved from the bleachers down to the lower section and eventually made our way up to the railing between home plate and the Brewer dugout. At least 10 players came over and shook hands with, and/or hugged the fans. Attempted to get as many pictures as I could - not many turned out, but this one was the best: http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/9324/1003240z.jpg Prince stayed on the field interacting with the fans for well over an hour while celebrating with teammates and doing various interviews. Once he left (about 11:15 PM), they kicked everyone out.
  17. It wasn't a strike, but what there's no reason for is Molina going completely insane over it. I mean, totally nuts.No - it wasn't a strike, but it probably fell in the ubiquitous "Too close to take with two strikes" area.....
  18. Um. bean balls are part of the game, but bad ball/strike calls aren't? The strike zone was all over the place last night, Molina of all people should have known that. Yeah - that was one ridiculous zone last night. You would think the catchers would know and tolerate it as well....
  19. Just a thought... If the Cardinals are all about honoring the game and being classy, shouldn't Molina decline the right to appeal his suspension for blatently bumping an umpire? Unless they're complete hypocrites, of course....
  20. I wonder if that point is when Braddock is ready to come off the DL.....
  21. I read all that crap...and with the crappy day I've had, reading the JS blogs made me feel more like crap for posting it (even though many were wondering about his situation). But, and I kid you not, I was looking for anything Tom H may have written about his situation yesterday...and I found that link on my first Google search - literally 30 seconds.
