  1. Amazing-- I was wrong-- I was wrong.
  2. Now lets see how many this time for Florida. I bet it is not zero like the Brewers.
  3. Yep-- Jack looked "really" nervous in the dugout--- Shut up Bill and Daron. These guys are just idiots. He knew the Brewers had no hope with the 8 and 9 up. The Brewers can't get a big hit.
  4. I think the Brewers should have cheerleaders like the Marlins. That would pump up the crowd---- and players.
  5. Jack really looks nervous with basesloaded and 1 out. Chew on more sunflower seeds-- the big boys are coming up to bat.
  6. Maybe Bill Schroeder should just be the manager since he knows everything.
  7. 4-0 already with a Grand Slam by Florida-- that shake up has really helped. Get used to the pounding. This is what happens when you have boys against men. And for people wating for prospects to be the save all-is going to be more of the same. This organization just doesn't have the horses to compete on the major league level-- don't be fooled with all the prospect talk.
  8. If everything holds true to Brewer form-- Kolb will become a worthless pitcher from now on and will never regain his first half form. The Brewers could have traded him away to most any contending team and got just about anything they would have asked 2 weeks ago. But NO, they pick to keep Kolb and now the downward slide starts to show. Hope I am wrong, but it would be true Brewer form.
  9. Are you still having "fun" at the games???? This organization and team makes you wonder at times why you even go.
  10. To me it is also like Jenkins hitting a HR last night in the 9th-- it had little meaning to the game. Hit the HR in Saturdays game in place of hitting into a double play and the Brewers might of had a chance. But no then he hits into his DP and Brewers go on for a big 0 that day. His HR on Friday had meaning to the win. It is all in the timing of the event.
  11. In a game that the Brewers are down 4-0 out of the shoot and 7-1 later then Bennett has a 4-4 night and your telling me those hits matter? How about having those hits with runners in scoring position and a 2-2 game when the hits matter? Does he then get a 4-4 night and any rbi's? It is liking looking at some stats and seeing 10 Hr's and then finding out that all 10 HR's came in the 9th inning of games that were 10-1 and that HR made the 1-- the HR's have little meaning. But show me those HR's in place of hitting into a double play. It would be like a pitcher being able to have a 1,2,3 inning in a 7-1 downer and then getting shelled in a 4-3 tight game. The 1,2,3 inning has little meaning. Do it when it counts.
  12. Amazing Bennett gets a career night when NOT needed. It is why many stats are worthless-- it is all timing. Will he get hits when they "really" count? Or were all his month worth of hits just a waste tonight?
  13. In turning STATS to favor who you prefer-- Who has the HOT bat now? Would you rather have Grieve 0 for his last 11, 3 for his last 20 and 5 for his last 30? Or Clark with 6 for his last 9, 8 for his last 17 and 10 for his last 25? You can throw all the great stats out there all you want but what have you done for me lately? And since July 2nd, your man Grieve just has not done it. And just for your record with OPS numbers-- Grieve achieved most of his OPS in May with a .975, since May June was .675 and July is .695-- whereas Clark stunk in May with .490 and has come on in June with an .811 in June and a .944 in July. So it plays into the playing of the hotter bat at the time. Over the last 2 months the winner would be Clark.
  14. Another hit for Clark today-- How many did Grieve slash?
  15. At least he can hit the ball.
  16. 1st and 2nd --no outs, Brewers in Business.
  17. Lets see-- so far Grieve with a stike out and a ground into double play. That is exciting.
  18. Would you guys please shut up about starting Clark today-- if the rest of the team each would have had as many hits as Clark today this team might have scored a run. Why not complain about Podsednik and his AWFUL .250 average and Jenkins and his stinking .252 for all his millions. At least Clark is batting .269. The only true hitter on the Brewers is Overbay-- without Overbay this O totally stinks and would be lucky to score any runs per game-- not just when Sheets pitches.
  19. Just because someone could hit good doesn't mean they always can teach others to hit good.
  20. Bringing in any hitting instructor at this point is not going to help-- if they don't know how to hit by the time they get to the majors they are never going to hit. Too much is made of hitting coaches.
  21. With Sheets pitching Saturday night, you know the crew will get no more than 1 for him-- that has been about average all year.
  22. Until this team shuffles some players to find a hitter-- it is all on the strength of the pitchers arms as to W or L. Just no O.
