  1. I think most tech people probably get new jobs rather than go on a vacation.
  2. Full Name: Tyler Wesley Naquin Nicknames: Billy
  3. Didn't realize he was already 32 years old.
  4. In a race to be "first", the first thing to go is proof-reading.
  5. to play devil's advocate for a second, Attanasio is worth like 700 million. Why cant he just pony up another 700K?
  6. I am not sure I'd implicitly trust a McGinn source any more.
  7. This 2019 article is behind a paywall, but confirms your post: https://www.bizjournals.com/milwaukee/news/2019/03/29/mark-attanasio-discusses-brewers-ownership.html
  8. Time for a new season thread. Here is the last post from the '22 thread (a reminder there is also a 2023 Packers Draft thread. Please put draft comments in that one):
  9. Did they do that publicly? That was just in the arbitration hearing right? That is par for the course.
  10. Yeah that's partly why Hader only wanted to pitch the 9th.
  11. I think in years past, they would meet in the middle. So the players would ask for more so the "middle" would be more. I can't blame the players for that. System is screwy.
  12. I've considered that but given the number of voters with Roth IRAs (think it was 26 million as of 2020), I sincerely doubt they would ever do something so dumb. If they were to do something along those lines, my guess is they'd make it taxable for new contributions. I was in a regular 401K forever and switched to a Roth a few years back so I've got both angles covered :)
  13. Wasn't he rumored to be potential offensive coordinator for UW at one point before they hired Longo?
  14. This is a good point. Everyone's risk tolerance is different obviously but for most people you probably don't need to remove a ton of risk when you retire.
  15. Same thing that happened to the Denver Zephyrs. They'll move to another city. Zephyrs moved to New Orleans.
  16. My buddy coaches his kids team and they are right about the same age as yours. I'll see what he does. He didn't play past little league so I'm kind of curious myself how he coaches.
  17. Actually, I looked it up...still technically IN Atlanta. Across the highway is Marietta.
  18. Technically speaking they left Atlanta for a suburb of Atlanta :)
  19. A "grunge" tribute might be cool but without Soundgarden and STP (and Pearl Jam won't do it) it's kind of pointless. But some of these suggestions you guys are making....wow.
  20. And it passed a referendum
  21. It was happening almost once a day. I'm glad they reduced it.
  22. that happened to a friend of mine. he was laid off from Salesforce and got a job with a start up.
  23. I think people gave her some slack when they figured out she was pregnant.
