  1. Is this what it's like to be a Bears fan?
  2. This is because states and feds share welfare costs but the feds pay for disability. So states are financially incentivized to push people onto disability. A lot of states that claim they have super low welfare rolls, simply have a ton of people on disability.
  3. Great! The cutting, pasting, and renumbering can be quite onerous. I imagine drag and drop with java isn't so hard but guessing it's storing and tabulating the results that is the big challenge.
  4. I would love it if we could get "drop and drag" functionality when creating the top prospect lists.
  5. We will see. They are choosing the Rams path. If they don't win it all this year or next they are in serious trouble.

I dunno. I think it depends on what they do around the stadium and how expensive the tickets are. Plenty of Marquette kids can walk there.

  8. Is a high interest rate on a new mortgage as big a deal as it used to be? Sure you have a higher payment initially but re-financing takes like 15 minutes now. Maybe the rules around that have changed since I did it way back when. Obviously if you can wait it out, then do so.
  9. If Zach Tom knows which direction to go he'll be an improvement:
  10. Honestly they just need to make a change. Something. Put Tom in there and get rid of Newman for a start.
  11. Any guards or centers available via trade? Maybe three of them?
  12. holy hell is our interior o line horrible
  13. Adams should not have shoved the guy. Adams should also not be charged with anything.
  14. Presidents can't really impact gas prices. People have been blaming the president for spikes in gas prices since GW Bush. They can't cause them to spike and they certainly can't cause them to drop five weeks or so before midterms (I guess they could if they waged war on Canada). Gas prices are very complex mechanisms and vary greatly from region to region and state to state. A lot of gas price fluctuations in the US are tied to refinery issues or non issues and state taxes/regulations. We actually are producing a LOT of oil right now and even with Covid we produced a LOT of oil - more in 2020 and 2021 than 2018: https://www.eia.gov/outlooks/steo/report/us_oil.php U.S. crude oil production in our forecast averages 11.8 million barrels per day (b/d) in 2022 and 12.6 million b/d in 2023, which would set a record for the most U.S. crude oil production during a year. The current record is 12.3 million b/d, set in 2019. We produce enough domestic oil to meet all our consumption needs but we are unable to refine all of it hence why we export so much. It has very little to do with environmental policy or lack of drilling. https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/america-produces-enough-oil-to-meet-its-needs-so-why-do-we-import-crude Had we thought about it 30 or 40 years ago we probably could have built a bunch of new refineries but that didn't happen and it was because of a lack of foresight from both parties....or because having other countries rely on us for oil gave us some kind of leverage.
  15. The Keystone pipeline that was axed would not have been online until 2023 and many oil companies cut production on their own accord when demand fell off a cliff during the pandemic. I think the Venezuela thing was allowing Chevron to up their production.
  16. my lord is this defense undisciplined
  17. Kinda crazy how much discord there's been with the Phoenix, Boston, Golden State teams.....lucky to have good dudes on the Bucks team and coaching staff.
  18. Depends where you live. Great Lakes probably won't be impacted by the OPEC thing.
  19. I think this is Mason's last year.
  20. Where is everyone getting that recruiting has slipped? They had one of the best recruiting classes they've ever had in 2021.
