  1. Packers made the playoffs in 82 as well.
  2. Trap game against Northwestern on Tuesday
  3. that tattooed center for OSU likes to throw his elbows around.
  4. Regular season games matter more in the NFL than other sports too simply because there aren't as many of them. They are starting to give veterans days off during the week.
  5. hahaha this gave me goosebumps
  6. I do think it's unfair to expect everyone to be in game shape. I'll be happy with 10 - 15 snaps for each of those guys in the 1st playoff game. The "help" will really come if the Packers can make it a few weeks into the playoffs.
  7. Apparently this is legit. If he's able to play, they kept that about as quiet as possible. Getting Mercilus and Z back for the playoffs would make for a silly good rotation for pass rush situations. Whoa this is big. Mercilus + Z>>>>Galeai + Garvin
  8. That's exactly what Cleveland did this year.
  9. I'm not even sure a lot of folks are waiting for anything. There's a major shifting demographic with more people not having kids at all, getting married later...I think way more people are now just happy to rent perpetually and not deal with any of the burden that can come with a house. There are plenty of markets where home values are outpacing rent by quite a large margin. Best to research if you are on the fence and moving to a new city. https://www.forbes.com/advisor/mortgages/states-with-highest-rent-hikes/ I don't know if this is still the case, but there was a big difference between home and a condo values after Covid. A lot of people wanted yards and what not so condos could be had for pretty cheap (comparatively). edit: looks like condos came back big time. At least here in Chicago. https://www.chicagobusiness.com/residential-real-estate/chicago-condo-comeback-led-fall-housing-market
  10. Is there still value to putting down 20% to avoid PMI? I know some of the borrowing rules have changed since I bought back in 2006.
  11. I'm curious as to where and how the guy intercepted it in the mail. I've seen several reports on the local news about this happening in some of the Chicago suburbs. I had a new credit card mailed to me that the Post Office scanned in (I signed up for a USPS account that sends me images of mail when they scan it it, usually a day or two before I receive it) but I never received it and I have a locked mailbox - only I and the postal delivery person have a key. https://www.justice.gov/usao-ndil/pr/seven-former-postal-service-employees-charged-federal-probe-credit-cards-stolen-mail Might have been postal workers.
  12. Watch out for the hippos https://www.nbcnews.com/news/animal-news/pablo-escobar-s-cocaine-hippos-can-be-legally-recognized-people-n1282292
  13. Their offensive line is garbage. If they can keep Burrow upright they have a chance. Against a very good pass rush I don't know. Also, their head coach is kind of a dunce so he may try to "establish the run" instead of using the passing game. But yeah, they could certainly go off given the right matchups. I was thinking more next season when writing this but it also wouldn't shock me if they make a run in the playoffs over the next few weeks. They can fix their O-line in the draft/FA. Ah, yes. I agree. Might be worth betting a SB champs prop when the odds post.
  14. Joe Judge canned as head coach of the Giants. Rodgers was ripping him today on McAfee's show....final nail?

  16. Typically yeah because the interest can be like 6%. I refinanced my grad school loans and got mine down to 3.15% so I'm fine just paying the minimum. Speaking of, refinancing student loans can save you a boatload. I cut my interest by over 50%. 17 months to go! When I owned a condo, my interest was over 6% so I wanted to try and pay extra on it.
  17. Jenkins for sure but Turner may be back.
  18. No games west of Minneapolis.
  19. Sounds like the Bears are using old school dinosaurs to consult on the hirings. edit: The presser was an absolute nightmare and I love it.
  20. Rodgers is an all timer at protecting the ball. I think he's had the best TD:INT ratio the last 7 years in a row or something. No one will ever be that good.
  21. Looks like the Giants are losing a GM but keeping a coach. What a dysfunctional dumpster fire of an organization. Chalk up at least one victory for Green Bay next year.
  22. I really liked Top of the Lake. Did you happen to watch Season 2 by chance? I kept meaning to and just forgot about it.
  23. I hope Taylor realizes his team's strengths and commits to a pass heavy game plan. They went away from it after the bye for like four games and really struggled. Then they figured it out again against Baltimore.
  24. You'd think after seeing Fields torch Michigan for 300 yards and 4 TDs he'd want to coach him Not sure why he'd want to coach LV
  25. A bunch of people are putting UW in their top 10 which I guess is correct given their schedule and quality wins but feels way too high to me. They've gotten some luck in the close games.
