  1. Brady is great at causing fumbles
  2. Akers brings fumbling apparently
  3. The Bucs have two kickoffs out of bounds today. Crosby didn't do that this year so I guess we got that going for us. that one was just dumb luck. it bounced ten yards sideways
  4. I look forward to the "Tom Brady leads comeback" headlines if the Rams keep imploding on offense
  5. Bucs finding out it's not so fun playing a playoff game without your pro bowl tackle.
  6. Cam Akers adds a little sumpin sumpin to this offense. Stafford gonna Stafford at some point though
  7. Hey he had a Packer hat on
  8. yeah theres zero chance he goes to the Niners. they gave up a ton of picks to get Lance. zero chance? I wouldn't go that far, like I said, getting Rodgers to play two more seasons in SF, then turn it over to Lance isn't that far fetched if they want to win NOW! Well yeah it's never zero but the 49ers have no 1st round pick in 2022 or 2023 so I'd be shocked if they were able to put together a package for Rodgers.
  9. This is what I meant when I said we might be expecting too much of the guys coming back.
  10. I don't think trading Bakhtiari at current value is wise. For one, he hasn't shown he's come back from the ACL and his cap number is big. Might as well keep him around another season at least.
  11. Except that Turner wasn't the problem (and he was the LT, not the LG). Bosa had two sacks and two QB hits - he was LDE and lined up across from Kelly. Armstead had two sacks and two QB hits - he's the LDT and lined up across from Patrick. Ebukam was lined up across from Turner and he had one sack and one QB hit, but Bosa and Armstead were the much bigger problems. Exactly. Turner was decent at LT last night. I honestly think the better idea would have been to start Yosh at LT and Turner at RT. Kelly had some nice blocks last night, but he was beaten and ragdolled plenty too. Did they address in the post game why they chose that O Line configuration? I would hope someone would ask about that at some point.
  12. You can tone down the sanctimony. Rodgers didn't play well and missed an obvious throw. The special teams unit was obviously the bigger culprit.
  13. Rodgers was under pressure all night. I wouldn’t doubt if Rodgers saw the blitz and figured he wouldn’t have much time so throwing too Adams, even doubled, would be the best option. FWIW my buddy was at the game and said all game the WRs couldn’t get open. Two guys blitzed and they came from 9 and 7 yards from the line of scrimmage. And given the angle, they were probably more like 10 - 12 yards from the ball. It was actually a really bad defensive call as they had no shot at getting home unless Rodgers was flushed from the pocket.
  14. And I think he literally threw to the worst of the three options there. Totally knew what he was going to do prior to the snap. 49ers got lucky. That was the slowest developing blitz of all time.
  15. You don't always throw when a guy "is" open. You oftentimes throw when he's "going to be" open. And in this case, given the direction each of the Niners d-backs were moving this was obvious pre-throw.
  16. not only was he wide open but he probably would have run all the way to field goal range Except he wasn't wide open when Rodgers threw the ball - he was wide open after the throw was made. Look at the :04 mark of that video - Lazard has one defender behind him and one in front of him and Rodgers was already in his throwing motion when Lazard made his break. Now, Rodgers had another second to let the play develop and Lazard would have been open. But when he looked over at Lazard early in the play he wasn't open. He knew, presumably, where Lazard was going and should have been able to see that the safety had abandoned the middle of the field.
  17. Hey guys, tough loss. Let's try and be civil.
  18. not only was he wide open but he probably would have run all the way to field goal range
  19. apparently Lazard was wide open when Rodgers heaved that bomb to Adams
  20. Man Rodgers is getting just skewered today. He has really become footballs version of a pro wrestling heel.
  21. I actually think GB wins this on the road. Seems like the weather hurt GB more than SF.
  22. yeah theres zero chance he goes to the Niners. they gave up a ton of picks to get Lance.
  23. I think they really missed Tonyan in the red zone
  24. I don't know if it's been true since Michael Vick came up there and won a playoff game back in like 2002
  25. I really want to know why they didn't start Nijman.
