  1. That would piss off so many other teams' fanbases ... along with a portion of ours. Can you imagine if Jordan Love actually turns out to be a good QB, though? Talk about a franchise with a lucky rabbit's foot! Bears fans would literally cry
  2. A lot of people have lost loved ones to Covid so naturally, the vaccine thing is a touchy subject for many people.
  3. For me, I want to see: what the protocols are/aren't, did he break them, and if he did is this a widespread thing around the league? I don't think social distancing at a press conference while maskless is within protocols but we shall see.
  4. I'll be curious to hear the protocols clarification because I don't think non vaccinated players are allowed without a mask to do the in-person press conferences. Other players (like Lazard) have done them via Zoom.
  5. The issue is if he was not following unvaccinated protocols....and I believe attending a party is against protocols for unvaccinated players.
  6. NFL trade deadline was yesterday. Minor detail that can be overcome.
  7. Honestly, if it turns out he did lie I am fine trading him immediately. I was fully onboard the Rodgers bus in the offseason and wanted him around the next X amount of years he wanted to play but no more.
  8. He might be able to make that point if he had been following the NFL protocols for unvaccinated players. He wasn't.
  9. And if he is unvaccinated, he will miss the Seahawks game as well.
  10. If he said he was and he really wasn't that's moronic. I'd rather have him go full Cole Beasley than lie about it. Also, if you aren't vax'd there are protocols you have to follow so if he lied and the Packers knew, they let him break protocol. If he lied and the Packers didn't know, that's really just trash. Rappoport could be wrong of course.
  11. Rappoport and some other guy say he isn't. Who knows. I think he said he was "immunized" so maybe he had it at one point and thought he had natural immunity.
  12. Rodgers tests positive for Covid. Out for Sunday.
  13. Saints WR Michael Thomas will not be returning this year.
  14. Raiders released him
  15. There is a specific person who posts on here who would of called that dumpster diving as they are not a big named player. Two of the 4 OF's that the Braves acquired the Brewers tried acquiring during the off season also. Wrong, that's not at all dumpster diving, in my book. You know what it is?? It's being aggressive. Look what happened because the Braves decided to get aggressive. They are still playing. John Curtiss and Daniel Norris, is NOT being aggressive. They were nothing moves, other than to add some depth to the bullpen. Very Meh moves. How'd they work out?? Giants got Kris Bryant. They aren't playing. Dodgers got Scherzer AND Trea Turner. They aren't playing. Yankees got Anthony Rizzo and Joey Gallo. They aren't playing.
  16. there are t usually that many trades at the deadline in the NFL.
  17. Sort of along those lines, there was a Freakonomics podcast episode about Japanese CEO's legally adopting adult males so they could pass along their wealth/company to a suitable heir.
  18. I don't know if I want the Chiefs to win or lose.
  19. Rams traded two 2022 draft picks for Von Miller. So here are their current draft picks for 2022: Round 1: Traded to Lions Round 2: Traded to Broncos Round 3: Traded to Broncos, still own a compensatory pick (via Brad Holmes hire) Round 4: Traded to Texans Round 5: Own Round 6: Traded to Patriots Round 7: Own & Dolphins’ pick I think they are going for it
  20. go Vikings I guess. gross.
  21. geaux Saints
  22. Jones is the superior pass catcher. And Dillon has played a lot....not sure if people are expecting a 50/50 split or what.
  23. I didn't realize Keke was hurt Hope it's not serious
