OBJ's agents are having fun leaking rumors today.

I'll be curious to see if Kirk Cousins and Carson Wentz do their post game pressers via zoom this week.

Looking forward to seeing Hepburn, the frosh point guard, play.

Since we are closing in on 100 pages, I'm gonna lock this thread and start a new one. I'll copy over the OBJ stuff. Gimme a few minutes.

    well this would be something

Today's interview with McAfee is going much better than the last one.

The most interesting thing in that video was the obesity of the Steelers punter.

I'm worried the Bears get a competent or semi-competent offensive mind to be head coach. They have talented skill players without a clue how to utilize them.

Deep dive into Love's start: (I believe this is former Packer QB JT O'Sullivan)

Really good point. For all the questions about Joe Barry's hire and the heat he took early in the season, the job he's doing with the defense is really good. Factoring in the injuries, the development of the unit has been excellent. I can't get over this: the Packers held the Chiefs to their worst offensive output in the Patrick Mahomes era without Za'Darius Smith, Jaire Alexander, Eric Stokes or Kenny Clark for a half.

Not seeing the dirty. Better angle

Changing subjects a tad....the defense was awesome yesterday. Yes, I realize the Chiefs are having some issues but most of them have been turnover-related. They've still been moving the ball. They did gift GB a few drops but I'm excited to see what this unit can do the rest of the year particularly if they get Jaire back healthy. Other than the NOLA game, they've been solid to outstanding.

Josh Allen's first year as a starter (12 games): Comp %: 52.81 TD: 10 INT: 12 QBR: 67.9 (edit: Chorizo, I posted this before I saw your post. Was not in response to your Allen comment)

    Mac Jones is dirty

I can see why someone would salivate seeing tape of Love. Easy throwing motion and the ball just pops out of his hand. I do wonder, though, if he will be able to find accuracy when he isn't able to set up and throw normally. I feel like in the modern NFL those guys probably get a chance to set and throw like that 15% of the time. The rest of the time they are on the move or throwing off their back foot.

Confused why they didn’t try to screen them more or more slants. It was very obvious they were coming. They weren’t trying to hide it. Or just do rollouts/sprint outs. They did one time and it worked.
  17. homer
Love had loads of trouble against pressure. Certainly not the first young QB to have that issue.
  18. homer
He's gonna kick himself when he watches the film. There were guys open on those blitzes. He kept forcing it to Adams.
  19. homer
love the designed rolliut on third down

I think Father Time has caught up to Kelce

    defense is laying some wood

I know some of it is lesser competition but they are most definitely improving. Rutgers notwithstanding, laugher-type wins vs. Purdue and Iowa are going to look pretty good come season end. I hate saying "they shoulda won" because usually you shouldn't have but that Penn St game....it's one thing if the other team forces you into a fumble, it's another when you just muff a handoff.

I'm looking forward to seeing what MLF has dialed up. I imagine this will be like the AZ game where they try to run clock and reduce # of possessions.
  24. homer
Braelon Allen left high school a year early right? So he could be playing high school kids right now? That doesn't seem fair.

    This escalated quickly.
