  1. Hey guys, I recommend using the 2020 Packers thread for this discussion on roster moves. It's a good one and I'd hate for it to get lost in the shuffle.
  2. "Tauntauns were a species of non-sentient lizards native to the snowy plains of Hoth." What the heck? Lizards?
  3. New Orleans beat Tampa twice.
  4. Wisconsin's 7 day rolling average of new cases is back where it was in mid Sept. Certainly moving in the right direction.
  5. Yeah if you want to pin it on one play it was the TD right before half. Something totally preventable had they just been in a reasonable defense. Sure TB might have checked down and gotten them a field goal but the odds of that with zero timeouts were slim.
  6. I don't think the game came down to the refs. It sucks there were a few goofy calls or no calls but if you're blaming the refs you probably didn't deserve to win (sure there are probably few egregious cases. See Mary, Fail)
  7. They were letting a lot go. The Packers massively held on some key play on that last drive they had. I think it was Linsley or maybe Patrick.
  8. Is that the article that said Cleveland should rename themselves the "Fellers"? No but Fellers sounds stupid to me. I think Hammers is cool for a baseball team. I guess it’s personal preference. Personally I like it. What about Little Fellers?
  9. Packers have historically made the right call when letting O Linemen go - Lang, Bulaga, Sitton were all replaced adequately.
  10. I was glad they let more contact go between receivers and defensive backs. It just would have been nice had they done it for all 60 minutes.
  11. You can't play scared. That D-back made a really nice play on the ball.
  12. I feel bad for Rodgers. It must be heart-wrenching to see a very winnable game (Brady played like absolute junk in the 2nd half) end up as an L. I think he knows that even if he stays with GB that they won't have the same team next year. Since we're talking draft, this is why I hate trading up late in the 1st round. You need all those 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round picks to fill in the gaps when guys are cut loose. If they had stood pat and taken Love at #30 I'd have had no problem with it. But there were 3 corners taken right after pick 136 all of whom could have been potential replacements for King.
  13. I haven't looked up exactly where GB got the ball, but Brady's TO's ended up giving GB not great field position. Two of them were on 3rd down so they were kind of like punts. GBs two turnovers gave TB incredible field position one time and great field position another time.
  14. that was the chiefs best game of the year. they will be hard pressed to perform like that again
  15. Jim Leonard (I thought about making this blue but decided not to)
  16. Ehhh, if that's all there was, yeah. But it's not. Rodgers has already stated on record he thinks he'll finish his career somewhere else. I genuinely don't think he'll be playing out this contract in GB. He's been getting awfully deep about his mysterious future lately. Yeah he said that because they drafted a QB.
  17. I think he sounded like a guy really bummed out that he lost. You guys are reading way too much into that interview.
  18. Hopefully today is what we see from MVS all next season
  19. Packers run defense was pretty good
  20. MLF is gonna, rightfully, get roasted for not going for it on 4th
  21. Yep my dad and I were talking before the game that we can't get into a situation where we have to throw it every down. That play calling after both picks was inexcusable. Especially because the first play after the FG was like a 9 yd run by Dillon. they totally got away from pre snap motion and play action in the 4th quarter. baffling
  22. I give Tampa credit. Their defensive front was very good.
  23. I'm not blaming Rodgers for today. the play calling did him no favors in regards to alleviating the pressure.
  24. not as bad as the Seattle game
  25. yup. D Was fine in 2nd half.
