  1. An RPO (Run-Pass Option) is an offensive play in football where the quarterback chooses to either hand the ball off for a run or pull it back to throw a quick pass, based on how a specific defender reacts after the snap Individual team tendencies vary wildly. For instance, tracking data from groups like Sharp Football Analysis showed that teams like the Green Bay Packers dialed up wide receiver screens as part of an RPO upwards of 84.8% of the time, while other heavy screen users like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Kansas City Chiefs sat closer to 43% and 47.8% Data from 2021
  2. I was looking at Jac Caglianone's statcast profile today and decided to compare him to Jackson. I was surprised how similar the batting profiles were. Jac is a full year older:
  3. not worse but I can't stand "noone"
  4. Yeah I have to do some soul searching every time this happens. I wish I could quit football but there are 70+ other guys on the team that didnt do anything wrong and the majority of them are stand up dudes. It just takes the shine off the good stuff. I don't know where my ultimate line in the sand would be but it exists. I'll know when I know.
  5. Baseball isn't much better. Yet here you are.
  6. I'd rather take my chances with no names than have to root for a guy who beats women. There are plenty of transgressions I can overlook but that isn't one of them.
  7. I like the Jonnu Smith signing
  8. Yeah and I think talking to him after the inning would have probably sent the same message.
  9. Seems odd to take a great defender out of a game in the mid-innings for disciplinary reasons. Pull him aside, look him in the eye, and talk to him for 30 seconds; you probably get the same result.
  10. Honestly if just Parsons stayed healthy they probably take Seattle.
  11. I don't know why people have such strong opinions about uniforms.
  12. They should have beaten the Bears in the playoffs and they were missing arguably three of their top 5 -6 guys (Tom, Parsons, Kraft). I think if those three are healthy they have as good a chance anyone last year to beat Seattle. I don't see anyone running away with the league this year. If health is in their favor they will be tough to beat.
  13. Did they mess with the ball again in AA? Biloxi has really struggled recently.
  14. Yeah that's weird. I thought it was just for double headers? I guess this is why: After playing the first two games of the series in Milwaukee, the two clubs will head to Williamsport for the finale, so they'll each get an extra player for the contest.
  15. I think all fans are emotional. It's not unique to Brewer fans
  16. some of you need to just not respond to every post that bothers you. Great win.
  17. Guys, no politics. Thanks.
  18. Lara has shown a great eye at the plate, he doesn't chase, he takes a walk, he's fast, and plays really good defense (even if people think he hasn't shown it in right field, the scouting reports all say he's elite in center). There's incredible value there even if he never slugs 450+
  19. If Lara decided to go with the theme music from Dr Zhivago as his walkup song, I'd pick him hands down.
